With the recent release of the Stern Mustang Pin and me being in Australia I was wondering what are say the top muscle cars for the late 60's and early 70's in the US. I personally love the look of the classic muscle cars of the ear but curious what are the top 5 muscle cars in this 5-6 year period.

I like the
69 Dodge Challenger
71 Plymouth Cuda
69 Dodge Charger
69 Ford Mustang
70 Chevy El Camino

please share you thoughts on the best classic muscle cars of this era

Swinks, Dodge Challenger's didn't start until 1970. 1970-1974 actually. Same body style as the Cuda for that period. You forgot about the Road Runner's / GTX's.
The car in my picture is my 1970 Dodge Challenger.
As far as the '68 - '70 Chargers, I like the 1968's the best. The tail lights and round side markers look awesome. '69's are the most popular. (That was the General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard)
As far as the other "B" bodies, my favorite is the 1970 Road Runner. I like the tail lights better and they had the Air Grabber hood as an option.
Best car chase scene is in Bullitt.......1968 Dodge Charger vs. Ford Mustang Fastback..... Love that movie

Mopars in general from this era. Nothing else comes close. Cuda's, Challengers, Chargers, but my favorite was the Road Runner!! (Beep-Beep)

1970 LS6 Chevelle or 69 z-28 RS Camaro. Toss up between the two for this Chevy guy.

We did some burn outs in this 69 ZL-1 Camaro

A Shelby Cobra, is a Sports Car. It is not a Muscle Car. It is a awesome Sports Car at that. For decades the Cobra held the speed record for 0 to 100mph and back to 0.
