Vote now!

I need one final System 11 machine for my collection, and I am missing a Steve Ritchie.

Black Knight 2000
F-14 Tomcat
Rollergames
High Speed

thanks!

Voted for BK2K, but High Speed is just as good a choice and the other 2 ain't bad neither, personal preference should be your guide

#3 10 years ago

I just played some Rollergames this weekend. Love the part where it says "don't flip...flip"

#4 10 years ago

BK2K gets my vote, although some choices were very close!

F14 by mile

Voted for F-14, but like Fish Tales and Getaway also, you should include them on your list.

#7 10 years ago

They are not system 11 their wpc

And it's about Steve Ritchie!

#9 10 years ago

Not surprising that BK2K is in the early lead, but I'm just not a big fan. Really like High Speed though.

Oops, sorry, I'm not awake yet.

#12 10 years ago

Knowing your collection mof I would say HS or F-14. I will warn you though, I know that you like a perfect playfield, thats going to be nearly impossible on F-14. They almost always have raised inserts. Having said that mine does but it plays so fast you hardly notice.

#13 10 years ago

F-14.

#14 10 years ago

I'm going to go against the grain and say Rollergames. When the game is dialed in, it's just fast and fun. The music can be a little annoying, but it also lends the game a certain charm.

#15 10 years ago

Rollergames is a blast! It gets my vote. I finally picked up a Diamond Plate playfield copy. The game is a blast - and boy is it fast. I like the music too... its never leaving the collection.

If you like fast flowing Steve Ritchie games, this one will not disappoint.

#16 10 years ago

theres a F14 onCL for $750

#17 10 years ago

I love me some Rollergames, but High Speed would be my second choice. There's a place by me that has a Rollergames that I could swear was brand spankin' new. It's a wicked table and doesn't play nice, which I like! Also, best soundtrack out as far as I'm concerned.

#18 10 years ago

Black Knight 2000 is my #1 all-time, but I have to admit to having a soft spot for Rollergames. Really, you can't go too wrong with any of these.

#20 10 years ago

I voted for BK2K but F-14 would almost be a tie. Good luck!

#21 10 years ago

I voted HS for the theme, but RollerGames is very good value for money too.

#22 10 years ago

9 votes from "scientific fact", thanks for the input so far!

Out of all those either BK2K or F14, but I'd take Mark Ritchie's Taxi any day over any of them. Hey, it's still a Ritchie...

Chris

He already has a Taxi, but a great game! Got one right next to my F-14!

#25 10 years ago

I like BK2K, the only knock is the 'You can do it, you can do it!' audio. Do what, exactly? Lane drain?

Ha! that made me laugh.

#27 10 years ago

it's a tough choice. For me It would come down to price and condition I want them all! F-14 has been on my radar for sometime. LOCK ON! EAGLE ONE EAGLE ONE

If you like great callouts F-14 is hard to beat! NOW YOU DDDDDIE COMRADE! YOU CANNOT WIN!

Also you say you like metal, how about the awesome hair metal theme music?

I'm partial to HS. Just something about the music, sounds, etc. Love it.

F-14 Great Game lightning fast

That's a rad idea, I would love at least a file I could make a poster of.

I prefer the original translite, but would love a high-res for a poster.

Just did a reverse image search and looks like this originally was an Axe body spray ad someone photoshopped

Nice batons, but I bet she smells like Axe!

I wanna thank you guys for all the votes so far, I was rather sure I wasn't crazy when I thought about adding a Steve Ritchie pin from Sys11, and thought, "Hey wait -- this is not an easy decision to make." It's fun watching the horse race in slow motion...

thanks!

F-14 hands down!!

#42 10 years ago

I own 2 of the 4 and voted bk2k...it is hardcore pinball.

#43 10 years ago

BK2K => HS => F-14 => RG

that order IMO

Quoted from bayoubilly70:

I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!!!!

#46 10 years ago

I haven't had a chance to play the others but RG can really be fast and vicious when dialed in, has great music, and if available can usually be bought cheaper than the rest. If you want a really great version with the prototype Skate Drop Targets - it'll cost, but when johnwartjr is done with it you can bet it'll be one of the best examples of a RG out there.

I Voted for High Speed, it took me away from video games as a teen and got me liking pinball again back in 1886. It's the only pin I own as well. It satisfies the pinball craving quite well.

...so difficult. 3-way tie with Roller Games, High Speed and F-14 (I'm so sorry, but BK2K suffers from the right-flipper-itis I've mentioned before). Nothing plays like F-14...and I mean NOTHING. The ideas in High Speed have been imitated, but the total design is damned near perfect. Roller Games kind of expands on some of the stuff he did in High Speed and is pretty underrated. Tough choice.
