Hey folks! It appears later this year I'll be making a business trip out to the south side of Denver, CO. I've glanced at the map and some of the respective venues' websites, but wanted to check in with the community for recommendations.

I've become spoiled by free play types of places (flat rate to get in, play for a while) but Hyperspace seemed to be the only one I found in the area that has this. I'm not against pay-to-play though so I'm curious on your thoughts of where I'd get the most out of a visit.

    Thanks in advance!

Cool, thanks for all the recommendations thus far. I had looked at possibly going up to Lyons, it'd be about 1:10 each way -- but it also seemed to have some older stuff too, which I like.

I was also planning to swing through Colorado Springs to visit a friend, and probably hop over to Penny Arcade.

    Quoted from Kevkat:

Lyons Classic Pinball is a must see and well worth the trip. They have lots of classic and newer games and they all play great. They're open Thursday - Sunday.
I run Blizzard Mountain Pinball in Conifer, which is about 20-30 minutes southwest of the Denver area. Blizzard is open Thursday-Monday, so come check it out if you get the chance!
    Thanks,
    Kevin

Thanks for the input, Kevin! Blizzard was on my list of considerations also. (Bonus points for running an establishment, and yet recommending someone else's too.) If I make it over that way I'll come find you and say hello!

Hey just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their thoughts and recommendations. My business trip got cancelled though, so I'll just have to refer back to this later on if I ever make another trip out that way...

Great news everyone! Although my trip a few months ago got cancelled, a new trip got scheduled ... and as fortune would have it -- since I (foolishly) didn't look into it before selecting a hotel -- it turns out my hotel is ridiculously close to the Arapahoe Bowl!!!

Also, having done some additional planning, I'll be running down to Colorado Springs to visit a friend, so I'll hit Stumpy's on the way, and also will likely check out the Arcade Amusements / Penny Arcade down in Manitou. Gonna be a fun trip when it finally arrives!
