I have a home in Wyoming and want to grab a solid state western themed pin. I know western themes seem to have fallen out of favor, so choices are limited. I was thinking of Frontier - if I can find one. Any other good options that I’m missing??

Sharpshooter and Cactus Canyon come to mind. . . Westernish Themes anyway.

Yes. Of course. Cactus Canyon! Sounds like that one is next from Chicago Gaming.

Good choice. Pinball has been super weak in outdoor and western themes, or any other quality themes for a long time. Not sure who's buying what they are trying to sell now.

    Eight Ball Deluxe is Western/Country/Honkytonk

    Sharp Shooter II. Underated game

Big Buck Hunter isn’t really western themed, but seems a good fit for an open outdoors kind of state like Wyoming.

Maybe Maverick, but that’s more riverboat gambling.

There’s a lot of choices if you go with an EM.

I was going to say Big Buck Hunter as well

Get a Frontier, EBD, and sorry EM but El Dorado is PERFECT!!!

I would say Stern Stampede. Good solid EM, nice playfield layout, and pretty inexpensive to find.

And I can think of two more big reasons:

Cactus canyon is best, but there are plenty to choose from:
Frontier, sharpshooter 1 and 2, stampede, cockatoo, el dorado, maverick, bonanza, rancho, rawhide, fast draw, big Indian, etc.

Depending on how "western" you want it to be, eight ball deluxe and bounty hunter are very good games.

My top choices would be CC, EBD, frontier, bounty hunter, and rawhide.

Couldn’t have said it better myself! Pistol poker another western theme that comes to mind

    But what about Dolly?
    The breast western solid state.

It would be hard to argue against that, at the price.
    Underrated game, for sure.

No doubt, Maverick is a lot of machine for the money. The dot matrix graphics are very well done + 19 or so drop targets. The rules are deep considering the time period & completing the wizard mode isn't easy. Maverick for the win!

Check out Gottlieb Bounty Hunter if you can find one. Good western theme and very under rated fun game.

EBD and Maverick are my votes. Both great sharp shooting drop targets games.

Maybe Frontier, but I’ve yet to play one.

Cactus Jack for the sake of including it in the conversation.

Gottlieb's cactus Jack's honkytonk bar themed ,has a little cheese to it though but still pretty cool

Cactus Jack’s and Bounty Hunter are fun games! Either or would be great.

I’ve been trying to pry an eight ball deluxe from a local guy. It’s a great pin.
