What a write up! Well done!

Goddamn that's a gnarly list of games.

Err...Godzilla I guess?

If BW had been in the pollfrom the start it would be a top vot getter for sure.

BW then SST or Godzilla
Goldeneye is a distant 4th
Followed by maverick likely.

Excellent! Great reviews.

Goldeneye because James Bond is an awesome theme, tons of ramps, great rules and callouts. Real actors voices with original speech. Great Bond inspired music. Paul Faris Art.
Unique added features such as the magnet save between the flippers, "Shoot or Die" on the outlanes, jump ramp for the the satellite magnet for multiball, as well as a short video mode which involves the Walther PPK gun shooter....

Funny thing is I'd place BF at number 1, frank at 2, baywatch at 3, and maverick at 4. Baywatch is probably the best playing game of the lot, but that theme is just so bad. Frank is also dated, but the artwork keeps it higher than baywatch.

Frank has the worst layout I can think of on a pin .

Most of these games are so bad....it really is a testament to how far Stern has come since they started climbing out of the hole with TSPP and LOTR.

It took forever to get the little bother W/B syndrome over with, aka 10 lbs shit in 5lbs bag. Even a game like Apollo 13 has good ideas, like the saucer below the pops is a cool idea...but you just keep throwing shit against a wall and it's too much.

I didn't mean to infer there's anything good aboot Franks design, there is not

Disagree, it's a sharpshooters game, and very difficult at that. I use to think the layout was eh, until I spent more time on a great playing one. The layout is just right.

I don't think the theme is what made me want to sell Baywatch--it's that the modes are kinda boring. I like the layout and can pretend that it's more Jaws than Baywatch up to a point, but none of the modes (other than 6-ball multiball) stand out as being "wow, that was a fun rush of pinball playing there".
