I got mine from Andrew too.
Your DE and Stern games that you have will be the quickest to upgrade to NVRAM because these will be as easy as pulling out the old RAM (already in an IC socket) and installing the new NVRAM.

I bought a few 5101 and 6116 NVRAM in the past from him.
Any of the pinside people listed above -- all provide excellent service and products. If you need a bunch, are willing to wait, okay with testing chips, and potentially have a few failures, Aliexpress works well.
Hi
I sell NVRAM modules that work in pinball machines. $10 each, mix and match(in most styles), for quantities past 10pcs. I can make recommendations based on a game list.

Thanks for the mention guys. Lots of cheaper nvram out there these days and that's great for the community to have all the options to save boards from damage.
Quoted from Irishbastard:My $2 AliExpress ones are still running strong, no issues
Same here. Bought a 10 pack for like $22 shipped and they work just as good as any I've ever used.
I don't know if you've seen this thread but It's a wealth of information including multiple sources for NVRAM.

The FM1608 came in a DIP28 package just like standard 6264 RAMs. Used pulls from ewaste can be found form Chinese sellers on Aliexpress. The advantage of using one of the many NVRAM resellers like myself would be you get a brand new part that is rated for more read/write endurance and a larger voltage operating window.
RAMTRON/Cypress never made any directly compatible 5101/6116/5114 etc rams, an adapter module is needed to adjust the pinout and do any enable decoding for RAMs that use more than one chip enable.
Quoted from Dayhuff:Ok, so what's the difference between the $2 vs. the $10 ?? BESIDES $8.

Testing, new vs. used, better packaging, support, coming from the US as opposed to waiting to get post from China. . . I've used the pulls from China on nearly all my games that accept those chips. Some boards require an adapter (e.g., MPU-200), which I've ordered from one of the sources mentioned above and still used my pulls from China. You can get some bad chips from China, so you'll want to test them (or at least know to put in socket to switch them as needed.) Lots of good info, links, discussion, ideas in this thread (as previously linked): https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/nvram-experience
