Looking to reserve an le or ce Wonka. Are there differences in vendors? After 20 yrs, never bought NIB. Located Seattle if that matters? Suggestions?

Automated (pinballs.com) is probably JJP's biggest vendor with likely the best stock/reserved machine situation. Then you have Hemispheres Amusements, Flip n Out, etc. Any of those would be a good choice...

Correct, Automated is JJP's largest distributor. I actually just placed an order with them half an hour ago

Kingpin games posted this in another thread :

"Myself and the rest of the JJP Authorized distributors are under contract to sell at certain prices with no extras (free shipping, etc) included."

So you are looking for better service, not better price.

KingPin Games, Automated Services, Flip N Out, come to mind.

Since NIB games have become notorious for having issues, I'd order from the distributor closest to you with a reputation for service (especially if you aren't inclined to do the tweaks yourself). As others have said, distributors compete on service more than price in today's market.

But if the closest one is more than a few hundred miles away, it might as well be any distributor (or the one with the most clout).

Thanks for all the comments I’ll look into which one to go with.

Seattle Pinball Museum is the closest to you. Next Level is in OR for sales tax savings.

I’d recommend buying from someone close to you in case you have issues.

I am not sure why ANYONE would buy from someone besides Chris at KingPin Games.

Best service, supports all local pinball, takes MANY MANY games to multiple shows (Texas, MGC, etc...) and is also the guy to go to for Spooky games so might as well make it one stop shopping.

Some people aren't from Wisconson? Just a guess.

I've placed my first order with Joe at pinball star. I've been impressed so far with him.

I dont know why that would matter TBT.

Chris is great customer support and have a very wide region for sales.
I would buy from Chris no matter what state I lived in.

With JJP, the price is the same no matter what. You want a guy that will take care of you if there is ever an issue. Chris is that guy.

I also like to support the guy that gives back so much to the hobby.
Kingpin is likely one of the biggest in that aspect.

I'm guessing you actually do.

If you didn't live in Wisconson maybe you never would have heard of him?
Maybe you just would have gone to your local dealer?

Really? If you ever go to MGC, Denver showdown, TPF, or Expo... I am pretty sure you would have heard of Chris.

I know you largely evaporated from IRL pinball post kid, but Chris is well know as an amazing tech support, pinball sales, and general nice due around the entire midwest region.

I buy all my jjp games from joe at pinballstar. Nobody works harder than him before, during and after the sale.

Last time I was at Expo was 1999

I can agree with that.

Normally I try to deal locally only but with PinballStar I make an exception. I'm on the opposite side of the country as Joe and he is always been very responsive. Hes even gone the extra mile to shop shipping rates for me. When you buy from Joe you are definitely more than just another customer.

#23 4 years ago

Joe @ Pinballstar really does stand behind the games. I received a very flawed NIB game and he took care of me (and I was a new customer of his).

Which distributors have gotten their customers a satisfactory resolution regarding the POTC play field issues?

None. It isn't up to the distributors and the situation is still pending even though JJP has offered various forms of remediation.

Another vote for Joe @ Pinballstar.

I got free pizza when I went to pick up my WoZ RR. Beat that!

Hilarious... yes I do remember ordering pizza to treat you when you showed up ! See, it's the little things ! Thanks for the kind comments. Most distributors getting mention here are good folks and we ALL do a lot for shows, the community, and our customers. : )

Just found the picture ! LOL
