Sadly the cold launch and demonstration code the game shipped with and was stuck with for almost six months killed the momentum of this game, otherwise it would be discussed on par with Metallica and Tron. It had the layout, art, music, theme integration, and the toys...other than Storm and Beast (which were admittedly bad) the voice work was good.
XM is definitely a top game for me; partly because it's a kickass game with one of the best art packages to date (I have a Magneto) and partly because I grew up watching the cartoon in the 90s and love the X-Men outside of pinball. And if you didn't know, I heard someone did a sound package for it
