Well there must be some great possible themes out there

better ones still possible with LCD tech...

    Titles I'd love to see:

    Who's line is it anyway-
"Where the shots are made up and the points don't matter"
~This game would reward by ball time in play (not trapped), and the points would be random till the end, the LCD would generate new 'rules' each ball in play and call outs would be 'appropriate for the game'
Table would be divided into sections with common "Who's Line" games-
When you light all of the ramps the game starts four ball 'Hoe Down' -
High score table would be based on time per ball average and longest ball time.
This game would work well in P3 type machine...

Labyrinth- just a really cool theme- save the day OR side with the Goblin King- (alternate endings)
Two Highscore tables, one for each ending reached.

LEGO- mentioned this one elsewhere but LEGO where the 'theme' could change and the call-outs and points for bashes, pops and rollovers updated via USB... the possibles would me limitless... (or at least fun to build).

    Anything else dreamers?

The happy ending pinball with a chick in the cabinet!

    #3 9 years ago

Did you find a female pinhead's thread for this on purpose?

J/K- nope I need rules and what 'multiball' (ahem) would look like... and how to get on the 'high score' table... (ahem ahem...) *snicker*

Wait -I have a chick... (actually my chick, and my picture of the naked chick!)

    Just for you- IMG_3393.JPGIMG_3393.JPG

Anything music or super hero related is a no go for this guy! Maybe Rat Fink, Knight Rider, or some other 80's tv theme. Who else would love to see a talking K.I.T.T toy?

    Band themed - Slayer

    Action/Adv - Die Hard
    Comedy - Monty Python
    Horror - Creepshow

My holy grail is a tie between The Running man and Total Recall, recall, recall, recall, I know it was planned but never happened DE I think but I would like it now by Stern.

    But I love my man...

actually looking at the list of themes only ...

3-5 depending on count are sexual themes... interesting...

I love the Spy vs Spy vs Spy - then again I would, she always wins...

Three ball multiball with two captured color coded balls and the reg- steel ball... whatever spy drains last gets to 'win' that 'round' and a clip plays on the LCD.

    #43 9 years ago

On a whim, a few years ago I "created" a rough playfield, backglass sketch and exhaustive ruleset for a pin based on Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. It would be a natural for the European market.

    #44 9 years ago

A horror themed one would be cool. Maybe a Freddy, Jason and Michael Myers type thing....with specialty balls that look like severed human heads..haha

    #45 9 years ago

    Very very cool!

    (both above)

In any old book series (Hardy Boys or whatever) they usually named the next upcoming title at the end of the latest book to keep your interest up. Of course every series comes to an end sometime (when sales fall off) which results in the last book in the series naming a future book that never gets written or published. In the publishing world these are called phantom titles.

When WMS made RFM and SWE in 1999 the next two Pinball 2000 games were scheduled to be Wizard Blocks designed by Pat Lawlor and Playboy designed by George Gomez. Gomex moved over to Stern and designed Playboy as a standard DMD pin which came out in 2001. Playboy would have been much better in the Pinball 2000 format, where the color screen projected onto the upper playfield could display countless Playmates (shoot ramps or targets to make them remove an article of clothing, etcetera).

A Disney World themed pin would immediately eat my money.
