So, I have a pinball machine that sits on a wooden floor in our front room. Right now, it's sitting on some rubber pads, to keep it from scratching up the floor, but that pretty much takes nudging out. Does anybody here have any advice for feet covers that will allow some movement, but won't scratch up floors too bad? (We're not planning on doing death saves, just add nudging into play a bit)

Cheapest way is to get a piece of commercial carpet and cut into 2” squares. Allows the machine to move and protects floors. The other portion is rubber feet. Steve Young at pinball resource has the best prices but can be found on pinball life as well. Hope that helps.

I use rubber feet on concrete. Nudging is very effective, sliding is out.

If you need more machine movement, unscrew your levelers as much as you can to keep your pitch right. Or get 3 inchers for even more looseness.

Heh, I've bought from PBR before, he was my go-to for the repair and cleanup of my Monte Carlo EM. I like supporting Steve and gets he runs his business the way he wants to, but it's probably too much of a hassle to head to the bank to get checks to send to him for a ten dollar purchase... Pinball Life looks local(ish) to me, though, so I might check them out.

That makes sense. Probably make the sliding a little too_ easy, but better that then messing up my floors.

Just put a mat under them mate. Big overlocked carpet square works fine and is more comfortable to stand on than wooden floors.

I buy these by the hundred:

Pinball Life's product is a LOT better... IF you want your pinball to slide! The bottom of pinball life's leg leveler cup is smooth. It allows you to slide your pinball out from the wall for service, and to nudge your machine better.

Happ is made from a different material (rubber, or rubber-like), and has little rings that grab the floor better. Very hard to nudge your pinball.

Leg levelers can have the center 'peg' actually deform the metal of the leg leveler. This puts the weight of the machine on a peg point instead of distributing it on the whole foot of the leg leveler. If you notice the center of your leg leveler is 'pooched out', replace your leg levelers.

Pinball Life's leg levelers are not only shiny chrome, they are better quality (IMO) than what Stern puts on their machines fresh out of the box:

Has not been my experience, still a 300 pound game, but it is much better the game slide than not.... if someone is being a dick to the game

We have them one our wood floors, also our smooth painted concrete.
