The founding member of the price police lists an overpriced game (OBO!) and gets price policed.

The "$1000 worth of plywood" pitch was my favorite part.

He was being sarcastic about the current exorbitant prices of lumber.

$69 a sheet for crappy oak faced "cabinet grade" plywood complete with numerous voids at the box stores right now. Still a long ways off from $1k. Throughout that entire 4-page thread, the OP just wasn't seeing the irony of his past posts compared to the current post.

I read that one. Felt like the OP went from Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde.

It was pretty funny that he was the ultimate price policer and got destroyed for it. I’m not sure why he put the ad on the forum.

    #359 2 years ago

Dude, he HAD to know that was coming. I mean, dang, it was incessantly CONSTANT through the years.

As Levi said, the hunter became the hunted.

    #361 2 years ago

Looks like he took his ad private, clicking the enable forum topic option was probably not the best idea!

He dropped it to 5,500 now.

The cognitive dissonance was palpable. How could he not see the irony?

    What a tool.

    #365 2 years ago

Great stuff! Too short… bad cats thread we hardly knew ya…

One of the funniest 36 things about that thread was him continuing to bleat OBO!!! OBO!!! as if he ever gave an OBOer a free pass during his distinguished career on the force.

The balls on some people lately. It seems that being stuck in the house for a year has made people ego maniacs.

And with the same lousy pictures.

Lets be clear, the OP of the for sale ad was asking a lot for his game but was respectable ...but it was Flipper Mcgavin who was running his mouth...

Ha...POMC posted evidence of pussyism from the OP and he bolted...

    #378 2 years ago

Another classic price cop / Facebook troll who doesn't realize his own shit stinks and everybody hates him, and thinks we all needs to "get a life" while he spends all his time trolling others and talking shit without provocation. Total tool.

What is it about being a Price Police Officer that renders someone completely lacking in self-awareness? It's like it's a prerequisite for joining the Force!

Yeah I figured there'd be another thread somewhere complaining about this.

That's because I had the skill to back it up. Did you notice how quickly that thread got quiet after I started showing my work? That was all the assurance I needed. If the work was of bad quality, that thread would be several pages long within minutes with nothing but ridicule towards me.

    #381 2 years ago

No. The tone changed after my pictures posted. You would have had all his Yesmen posting as fast as they were before I showed pictures. And that was an erroneous attempt at assuming the shooter lane was defective. The ball glides perfectly. Painted shooter lanes look terrible. Manual plungers may be more sensitive to sanded lanes, but not Indy's gun.

It was open for several hours before getting closed. That thread was being watched like a hawk by them. The playfield looks good, you're having a hard time agreeing with it.

I don't think it's your work everyone has such a big problem with. You keep showing your true colors.

I knew it was headed in an entertaining direction, but I had no idea the twists it would take. That thread did not disappoint.

After two years of seeing good restorations get bashed by price police that are stuck in circa 2011, might as well change my attitude towards them. This stuff takes a lot of time and effort.

What kind of a fuckin' loser do you have to be to threaten to go visit your Facebook enemy's home?

And how much of a puss do you have to be to fold like cheap tent when said enemy calls your bluff?

(these are rhetorical questions by the way, we already know the answers)

I would have said he sounds like one of the most insecure people on here. Arrogance is almost always a smokescreen for insecurity.

I suck, so there you go...
