Anything besides an old movie, a TV show, an old rock band, or anything that has to do with a cell phone,
would be a breath of fresh air in today's pinball market.

1. Star Wars based on the original trilogy
2. James Bond pin based on Sean Connery's films
3. Back to the Future
4. Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction would be cool though!

Somebody's finally starting to make some sense around here.
Quoted from PinSinner:Forget about Star Wars...I want a Spaceballs Pinball machine.
Yes!!!!!
When you hit Dark Helmet he says "I'm surrounded by Assholes!"
I know a lot of folks are tired of the movie, TV show, or rock band theme but I wouldn't mind seeing a Sons of Anarchy theme. But original characters voices HAVE to be used. I think the walking dead pin is fun but not using actual characters voices takes a little bit away.

None of those pins are any good in my opinion. A few of the Star Wars pins are ok, but not great. I would love for someone to do those themes justice.
1) Trains
2) Wonders of the World or world travel (it could be a whole series: London/UK, China, Rome/Italy, etc)
3) War or battle theme;
4) Cold War or espionage
5) Non-licensed explorer;
6) Disney Magic Kingdom
Rock N Roll: Ramones, new Guns N Roses, Beastie Boys, Jimi Hendrix
Original: mountain biking/motocross (tons of ramps)
IP: Tony Hawk/pro-skateboarders
How about a Franz Kafka themed game? Trying to figure out the rules on new Sterns feels like being in a Kafka novel anyway, so it makes sense.
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:My broken record is I want whatever theme it fits best, a "Khet" based objective.
Say 4 Stepper motors, 4 to 6 positions, that have a mirror on them.
One needs to get 4 mirrors aligned, and the laser lit, for it to successfully bounce its way across the playfield.
Of course, the wrong hit, and the mirror moves out of position.
Features like Lock Mirror, or Align one mirror as a reward.
IMO, it would add strategy, and a neat "toy" not done before. Very affordable.
Would look cool lighting through Green Laser in a Matrix Game.
very cool idea Art
this could be incorporated into the 5th Element, collect the 4 stones and align to activate the beam of light that could trigger a playable ball in the backbox ????
Ok, so you know how there are Welder's goggles that have clear lenses that can instantly "black out" when a sensor "sees" a spark? Maybe there is a way that lanes or other zones could have transparent layers (over them) that can fade out or completely black out. Depending on the current that is applied, these filters can be darkened to varying degrees - so there are some possibilities... Storm mode, night mode, "Space Balls Dark Helmet Mode" etc...

I would love a new Guns N Roses pin with the new spike system's sound.
Quoted from PinSinner:Forget about Star Wars...I want a Spaceballs Pinball machine.
Isn't Liam Neeson building one of those?

A few ideas/things come to my mind.
1) some kind of ufc game..I'm sure if done right it'd attract a lot of people..
2) pink Floyd game: how can they not come up w something with all the great songs/albums over the years..endless possibilities
3)car lot: here u have an assortment of new/used cars..u manage to get a used/beater car the values of targets are low; get a newer/fast car the values are a lot more w different bonuses..
I would like to see more pin tables that can be connected together to compete against each other like NBA
A game themed maybe around a popular game like call of duty where 2 or more pins are connected (physically in maybe an arcade setting, or internet connected to play around the world)
Your actions or omissions affect your oponents. Hit a certain shot and your openent loses use of left flipper for x seconds etc
Hit another shot and something pops out from playfield. Use your imagination.
The connectivity would add a whole new dimension to games and could result in arcades buying 2 games not 1
Only my 2 pence.
I Popped back in and saw Jadys post about the 5th Element!
Multi-Pass, Multi Ball!
Seriously, would anyone want to see a game with a huge amount of personalization
available? Pinball browser extreme? Code or menu driven?
Quoted from BobT:Matrix- This movie is almost purpose built to be a pinball machine theme.
Totally agree on this one too, plus the soundtrack would be killer if they had different tracks for each mode and multi ball like X-Files.
Just this afternoon I was thinking about how an unlicenced 'defeat pinball prohibition' theme could make a great game. Of course the wizard mode would feature callouts from Roger Sharpe telling you what to shoot next...
Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein (Dracula Wolfman), the mummy, Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde and the invisible man, and go to mars wizard mode.
Would like to see Stern do "Evil Dead". Could impliment a chainsaw ball lock. Have it function similar to the turbo lock in "Indianapolis 500".
I was thinking about a new twist to a VUK.
The metal exit flap is not visible, and the mech can rotate the exit flap into any direction.
So a Ball to Vuk can exit to right of left flipper, horizontal in either direction, or any angle behind, based on design. Basically a planned, by variable VUK.....
Add 2 to a game, and especially during multiball, good luck.
Randomness, to me, is exciting....
