I did do a thread like this 2 months back and wanted to update it so here it is

I think we'd get more accurate results if there were three categories: (1) band theme pins, (2) movie theme pins, and (3) original theme pins.
I'm going to go with Time Machine by Data East, for original score, and Elvis by Stern, for music associated pin.
GoldenEye had really good music too for an older (synthesized) machine... very close to the movie sound track
Time Machine has a great soundtrack.
Radical! has a really neat 'live lead' feature where the lead melody changes as you hit shots. As a result, it's different every time you play. Pretty neat-o.
JM is a nice sounding pin, especially with a sub added.
RFM is in a different class. The audio quality is beyond any other pin, and each mode has it's own soundtrack. SWEP1 sounds great too.
RFM wins.
Quoted from pinball_keefer:One of my favorite pieces of music is Funhouse at Midnight. But overall soundtrack I personally am extremely partial to BOP... it's just awesome in its unusualness.
The music in BOP is incredible. It truly immerses you in the theme.
Same can be said for Tron, which gets my vote here.
This cinches it -
Guns and Roses contains a never released G & R song, and its only available on the pin -
"Ain't goin down no more...."
tales from the crypt has awesome background sounds of a church organ jamming with a great deep bass beat that goes along with it ..judge dredd has a continuous thrashing guitar riff that goes and goes and goes
Even though i love the music in AC/DC, it's not original. Not like Black Knight 2000. Just a
rocking Pin.
This is a sample, but there is much more while you are playing...
Black Knight 2000 won an award when it was released for 'best music in a pinball machine to date'. While the after-jackpot music doesn't thrill me, the rest of it is solid and awesome.
Swords of Fury has understated but very cool music (love the Bach fugue it plays for a high score). Taxi has good music as well from that era, and while I'm not a terribly big fan of playing Bad Cats, it has some great music.
