Quoted from awarner:I'd say AC/DC or WOZ because I really don't like the way LEDs look in vintage machines. If the game is designed for them, I'm all over it, otherwise I think they change the look too much. In some ways they make the games harder to play since the lighting is so spotty. I know I'm not in the majority so go ahead and downvote me for my OPINION. Cool people will upvote me though...
All led lighting needs to be finely tuned to each game, I really love those LED strips for the older stuff as it allows for lighting in area that otherwise were dark before, also the fluted dome lights from comet have such a nice spread of light that they work great in the GI and I recently started use frosted in the inserts as to soften the brightness factor, it also give the colored inserts a much nicer glow than superbright whites lets say.
Quoted from daddyxxx:I got that same kit in my Monopoly, this is the only game that ever bug me with leds because on the playfield board game the leds shine so bright you can see how crroked the lights are underneath, its jus too transparent for me, even my wife said it look bad
I would never use the kits, each game needs different kinds of lights, frosted here, super bright there and so on. I would like to add this game to the collection one day.
