I always liked Scared Stiff too. Greg Farres is my favorite artist.
Quoted from Trond:Thanks for all the responses but uh.....do we have a list of abbreviations somewhere around?
I looked up Farfalla and it looks pretty interesting (and I am guessing rare?), is it any fun to play?
Load it up on your PC or tablet if you want to try it out. Zaccaria Pinball is available on Steam (for PC) and you should be able to download it from Android app store (I assume there is an iPhone version too). Farfalla has a nice upper playfield and there are flippers in the outlanes to save the ball. Very good game, wish there were more Zaccarias in North America!
From the per-dmd era I vote Paragon, it's the total package.
More recently Stern STLE really strikes me, more so the cabinet, armor, backglasses, and speaker panel. The playfield was a let down.
Speaking of playfield artwork, I always appreciate the work Python did.
I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t chime in to say Mata Hari. I find myself just staring at mine in attract mode like im a little kid looking at a xmas tree.
Quoted from Diospinball:I can't believe anyone could down vote this post. I mean look at that beauty. I totally want to buy a Paragon one day. As the art work and backglass are just amazing and remind me of Frank Frazetta. However, the gameplay is what puts it down on my must own list. Just doesn't excite me... I've only played digital version of it, and watched papa videos. Just seems a bit boring. But, when I amass my epic collection it'll be there and it'll be fantastic!
Why is a midget riding a lion/snake/eagle and why isn't the woman more nervous about what's happening? Gameplay makes up for it, one of the best playing pins ever.
Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:hobbit, prettiest machine ever made!
Quoted from snappahead:I might pick Houdini.
Quoted from Gravity:Ghostbusters, Aerosmith, GOTG
Quoted from elcolonel:Ruby Red WOZ
Quoted from HoakyPoaky:Flash Gordon
Looks like have a bunch of real art connoisseurs here.
Quoted from Trond:I like the color scheme an lines on this one (from the top bar of this site). Which game is it from?[quoted image]
I believe that is James Bond 007....
Quoted from Trond:Right you are!

That girl at the bottom of the backglass was copied from a photo of Raquel Welch in Playboy magazine Dec/79

Some of my favorites are Iron Maiden, Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, zaccaria spooky, and wizard of Oz.
