Another good spot is Bishop's Cidercade in Dallas. I was there yesterday and their lineup of pins was: Spider-Man, Avengers Hulk Edition, Star Wars Premium, Stern Star Trek, Deadpool, TSPP, AFMR, MMR, MBR, Primus, Beatles, GB Premium, Metallica, Aerosmith, AC/DC Luci Edition, Tron, Stern POTC, BKSOR and Iron Maiden. Also have a bunch of video arcades. $10 per day all you can play.

I second the Cidercade, awesome place with lots of games of all sorts to play. The bonus is the good cider to drink!

    Has BOS pinball shut down?

Went there at 1pm today. It was all dark and all of the pinball machines had been removed. Tables, chairs and counter stuff was still there, but no notices or anything.

Was there last week and everything seemed fine. Marcus was talking about hosting a big tourney for Xmas. Sad if it is gone for good.

BOS pinball is hands down my favorite place to play pinball in Dallas-Ft. Worth.

I also like cidercade (in Dallas) and freeplay (one in Richardson...north of Dallas, and the one in Arlington...west of Dallas).

They are NOT closing, they are moving to another location in firewheel mall.

Oh thank christ. I about had a heart attack.

But my god..why!? They put a ton of money into renovating that unit. Freakin' Firewheel better have given them one hell of a good reason and paid for any needed updates to the new location to move......

The past few times I’ve been to Cidercade, there’s been game-breaking issues with many of the games. JP2 Premium clearly had the coil stop come loose, GoT was missing the action button, etc.

I wrote them and got a reply from the owner about how they go through their machines 2x per week, but I find that hard to believe given the consistency of issues I am seeing.

I hope they can step it up, as they have the best variety, hands-down.

Well, good to hear that they are not gone. Wish they had put up a sign saying that though. Does anyone know when the new location will be up and running?

I'm not sure, but Marcus should be able to clear it up.

I can 100% vouch that cidercade (Daniel Allen) does have the pins gone through twice a week, however, they get so much volume...they probably need 3x or even a full time tech with their massive amount of players.

I can't even imagine a full time tech trying to get into a machine during busy hours in Cidercade. It's not nearly as bad as it was when they first opened, but man there's been times where it's just wall-to-wall people in there. Even when it's less packed, trying to do something like take a glass off a game and not whack anyone or shatter the thing on accident...nope nope, and nope.

I was at Cidercade the weekend of Thanksgiving and luckily the few pins I played (my brother-in-law is more of a video game guy) were all in good repair.

Maybe I just got unlucky the two times before that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Has anyone heard any more info about BOS pinball? I stopped by there over the weekend and it was still closed up and no info posted.

I've tried both messaging and calling Marcus, but gotten no response. Their website and Facebook pages have not been updated either (still showing the existing location and hours).

Going in March. I'd like to know too, bump.

This was posted in the DFW Pinball & Arcade Club FB group on December 8:

"Right now, you can visit 440 Cedar Sage Dr, and go play some of the machines. A local card shop is hosting them while I try and find a new place."

Apparently there are only a few machines in the back room of this location.
