Hi all,

While I may not be new to pinball, I am new(ish) to working on them. I recently opened an arcade in Atlantic City (Starcade - inside the Showboat, you should come say hi! ) We have 19 pins, most of which do not have any LEDs in them. Since it's quite dark inside my space (almost no overhead light) I want to make sure that people can properly enjoy playing our games, hence the need for LEDs.

Here's my question: What is the best type of LED to buy in bulk and where can I buy them? It seems like I'll need # 44/47 and # 555 bases, but I'm a bit hazy on whether or not I should get clear, frosted, or other.

I'm going to have to put LEDs into almost all the pins and while I would like to color match eventually, I am more focused on getting the games brighter for overall enjoyment. I've looked at sites like Cointaker or Comet for LEDs but if I'm going to buy 15 or 16 pins worth of LEDs, I'd like to be sure I'm getting the right ones for the right price!

If anyone has suggestions, comments, recommendations: I'm all ears!
