I feel like the price is right would be perfect for a pinball... if done right.
You have to get Bob Barker to do the call outs. Maybe some old clips of Rod Roddy. And implement a camera a la Dialed in, that puts you on the backbox lcd as if you are guessing the prices on the row.

I think “press your luck” would also be an awesome theme. With that camera on you, you could have the whammys attacking you like they did on the show... really cool.

    Thoughts, ideas, opinions?

I don't usually watch game shows -- but I'd probably tune in to a couple episodes of "The Price is Wrong. . . Bitch!"

I feel like game show themes are great for casinos and slot machines and terrible for pinball and game rooms.

it just doesn't work. Winning "points" sucks in the context of game shows. People want money and cars.

I heard press your luck is a dream theme for Steven Bowden.

Game shows seem like a thing of the past but good memories lounging on shag carpet watching them. Not really sure how you translate guessing the price of laundry detergent or some trivia/poll question into good pinball. I would like to see more gambling in pinball where you can bet certain number of points on winning a mode or completing some task in a certain amount of time.

    Thank you.

A pinball machine based on classic Match Game might be decent. It was a gaudy, funny show with a great cast of characters. You could have a up/down target bank representing the 6 panelists, maybe a giant spinning turntable like the show or a goofy caricature backglass with Gene Rayburn and his microphone.

    How about Cash Grab?

I think price is still the most popular and has the best chance of translating to a pin.
