Something with unbreakable glass with waterproof seal, heavy duty coin door / security bar and a place for a large steel chain mounted to an I-Beam screwed to the cabinet.
yeah actually the older games have shorter game times and are usually better to "make bets" on. More opportunity for money to change hands faster. i sure hope OP posts what he picks.
Any of the Harley pins would seemingly be a great fit....but in reality all of the Harley pins blow chow with there weak game play.
AC/DC, Metallica, Guns & Roses all far superior choices.
Most bikers acknowledge that Harleys are inferior bikes (engineering wise). But of course none of that matters due to "Club Harley".
Bikers will put up with an inferior motorcycle. Not sure they will put up with an inferior (Harley) pinball machine.
I don't know what to tell you; don't know your budget for this. Anything with a cycle theme, billiards, or card theme should go over well. Ask some of your potental customer base what they would like in a pinball machine (or machines!)-keep in mind in such a environment the potential for abuse/accidental damage is great so I would advise against putting anything "collectable" (i.e. Centuar, Banazi Run, Bally's Harley Davidson) up for such abuse. I have lesser qualms about the newer Stern pins; they're easier to get parts/service for. Hell, if you really wanna get hardcore pinball you MIGHT want to put in an E.M. machine (go for the nostalgia/old memories thing...and it's cheaper too!). Just putting in my two cents-hope it's worth something
Gonna be up there in a couple weeks, any pin in the bar yet? Any other pins in the area?
The same as every other location. The cheapest one possible that breaks down the least. Theme is relatively unimportant.
Maybe Stern's Playboy (but put some explicit x-rated photos in there)? That might get 'em coming back for more.
Quoted from Thunder424:
There's a biker/back alley bar here in town that is a perfect spot for a game. It's definitely a blue collar environment but the crowds are there are usually very chill and laid back.
So, if you were to put a pin on location there, what would you recommend?
Bugs Bunny Birthday Bash or most anything by Zacarria
