Yeah I would prolly go with centaur theme wise but i would suspect ACDC would be a hit in any bar and prolly make more money. metallica might be too new of machine and appeal to metal heads more than bikers. Since the biker bar is kinda my scene I think ACDC would be the best

    HS 2: the Getaway

    Centaur ... hands down.

Is that McCools bar ? My brothers are at the cottage on Lake George and I'm stuck in Florida. Wish I was there partying with them. Or at the race today....Indy 500.
Road Kings would be a good biker bar pin.

Small world, but no, it's not McCool's. It's a place called Backway Lounge, just west of the post office.

    Gilligans Island
    Shrek
    Wheel of Fortune
    Roller Coaster Tycoon
    Flintstones
    Vacation America
    Popeye
    Super Mario Bros

Backway Lounge, I'll let him know, they'll probably stop by for a cold one.

Something with unbreakable glass with waterproof seal, heavy duty coin door / security bar and a place for a large steel chain mounted to an I-Beam screwed to the cabinet.

Oh the jokes that could be made...

Centaur gets my vote as well. However, if smoking is allowed, I'd say none as I'd hate to see the dwindling population of older pins get reduced another due to nicotine stains and tobacco smells.

I second champions pub but its pricey...

Barbwire or equally awful Raven would be much cheaper options. Both would need the R Rated translites of course

maybe some cement footies as well.

I think the guys would really enjoy Shrek!

yeah actually the older games have shorter game times and are usually better to "make bets" on. More opportunity for money to change hands faster. i sure hope OP posts what he picks.

Any of the Harley pins would seemingly be a great fit....but in reality all of the Harley pins blow chow with there weak game play.
AC/DC, Metallica, Guns & Roses all far superior choices.

Most bikers acknowledge that Harleys are inferior bikes (engineering wise). But of course none of that matters due to "Club Harley".
Bikers will put up with an inferior motorcycle. Not sure they will put up with an inferior (Harley) pinball machine.

Harley, Fish Tales, Metallica is what Id throw in if I had the choice.

    #70 5 years ago

Genesis, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Star Wars...

Any game you don't mind being destroyed.........................

I don't know what to tell you; don't know your budget for this. Anything with a cycle theme, billiards, or card theme should go over well. Ask some of your potental customer base what they would like in a pinball machine (or machines!)-keep in mind in such a environment the potential for abuse/accidental damage is great so I would advise against putting anything "collectable" (i.e. Centuar, Banazi Run, Bally's Harley Davidson) up for such abuse. I have lesser qualms about the newer Stern pins; they're easier to get parts/service for. Hell, if you really wanna get hardcore pinball you MIGHT want to put in an E.M. machine (go for the nostalgia/old memories thing...and it's cheaper too!). Just putting in my two cents-hope it's worth something

The same as every other location. The cheapest one possible that breaks down the least. Theme is relatively unimportant.

Maybe Stern's Playboy (but put some explicit x-rated photos in there)? That might get 'em coming back for more.

    #82 5 years ago

BBH seems like it would do well in a bar setting. Do bikers like to hunt?

    #83 5 years ago

    Road Kings
It will provide best ROI in a commercial setting because it is most affordable, shorter game times, best game to make bets because all four scores are visible at anytime, and has great motorcycle sound effects.

Oil wrestling usually does pretty well...

    Quoted from Thunder424:

There's a biker/back alley bar here in town that is a perfect spot for a game. It's definitely a blue collar environment but the crowds are there are usually very chill and laid back.
So, if you were to put a pin on location there, what would you recommend?

Bugs Bunny Birthday Bash or most anything by Zacarria

    #90 5 years ago

Eight Ball Deluxe hasn't been mentioned. I'd think that'd do well.
