Quoted from Shapeshifter:There was a beautiful Buttons and Bows for sale in Seattle a month or so back. Amazing condition, fair price. I was tempted but no space left.
Nice looking backglass.
Yes, this is the same game. Wonderful seller, not a Pinsider, but a serious collector in Washington for many years. He knows his stuff and I was extremely pleased to get it at a very fair price and have a seamless cross country transaction. The game is in the most pristine condition that I have ever seen, actually better than described, and the seller took extra care to blanket wrap/plastic wrap and prepare it for a pallet delivery. It arrived in perfect condition and fired up after it was delivered. Game plays well, everything appears to be working, and I'm not sure yet if I really want to take out the original black wrapper flipper coils to give a little more power to them. I think the only thing that's been done beyond the original mechanics is a replacement of the EOS switches and the power cord.
We read about the hassles that other owners have had with misrepresentation of a game ("perfect for it's age") and damages incurred during shipping. You hold your breath on a big move like this and nice to share that it was an exceptional experience.
Once I finish tweaking and detailing it, I'll prepare a little video.
Thanks
