Would've been better if buttsy had posted Gay Cruise. Just sayin.' Wait, was that inside voice or outside voice?

Interflip Dragon. Or 1p Dragoon
Its not cards, pool, or bowling.
Not cowboys or really outerspace.
I can't think of another theme like it.
There probably are a few. But Dragon has its own thing going on.
Thats why I had to get one. And its my personal favourite backglass.

Woodrails (there are so many wonderful Roy Parker backglasses that this list is quite long, in my view). Here's three of my favorites, though:

Below are two nice examples of Greg Freres backglass designs:

No list would be complete without a Gordon Morison backglass. Strange World is among my favorites:
Kevin O'Connor's CFTBL is a stand-out (the topper is custom-made and for sale, since the game is long gone):
George Molentin's art on Space Ship is iconic.
Moulin Rouge is my favorite Art Stenholm backglass.
Christian Marche's OXO is probably representative of his unique style.
There are so many attractive pinball backglasses. I favor the EM games; but, I appreciate the art on the solid state games as well. Some of the best art appeared on relatively unknown games, vintage 1940s, predating the flipper. When in doubt, though, just randomly select a Roy Parker creation.
The Niagara backglass photo I just posted is eclipsed by glare. Here's three better photos, which do justice to Niagara, with its animated illumination feature:

While I'm at it, I am compelled to post Roy Parker's Daisy May (one of the double award woodrails), the inspiration (according to Greg Freres) for his Whoa Nellie Big Juicy Melons art package:

Also, I neglected to include the great Dave Christensen, Fireball being my Christensen favorite:

My favorite Python Anghelo design is Taxi.
Paul Faris gets my vote for Xenon.
Stan Fukuoka's Big Bang Bar is noteworthy, no doubt.
John Youssi's Twilight Zone is timeless, in my opinion.

That Niagara backglass is beautiful. I like Roy Parker's comical characters in it too.
Which backglass would you rate as the best that Art Stenholm has done?

In my post #107 above, I gave the nod to Stenholm's Moulin Rouge. However, Stenholm created several beauties, including King of Diamonds (which, of course, is one of the best-playing games of the sixties). Pardon the poor spidering on the cabinet (which is the only reason that I sold the game years ago):

I like also almost all the backglasses of the Gottlieb woodies. They are very humouristic.

Any more info on this title? Who what when?
Quoted from AlexF:I think I have a half dozen copies of Dinah Shores Buttons and Bows on 78. Not sure how I ended up with so many. No idea if it's a good song.
i have this on 78 and cd. The 78 is much better. This is a great song!
Quoted from NoQuarters:Many many good EM backglasses. Tough to pick a best.
For card themed I like Hi Lo Ace. Nice colors and design.
Really like the "chicks" on the backglass!

I remember when Hi-Lo Ace was shown in a Bally Annual Shareholder report. That was awhile ago.....
Just a question to you EM guys. I have a Bally Hi-Lo Ace BG that is in really great shape but, I bought it to make a shadowbox out of; are these pretty common, or should I not do this?

As long as your project doesn't do anythig that will alter or otherwise harm the glass, it should be fine. You have only the glass, or the entire top lightbox?
Quoted from TheLaw:I'll tell you what I'm into now is Check-Mate...wtf is happening there? That dude is having his mind ripped out or something.

Most reliable machine at VFW Pinball. No cold solder joints in sight......
Thanks TheLaw for sharing that one. Never knew it existed. Have never seen one at TPF or the Houston show. I like it.
Quoted from o-din:You mess with the bull, you get the horns!
As i was scrolling down and saw this, i thought the horns were a lady's legs with knee high socks on, laying on her belly with her legs spread and up. The 10 light being an "opening". i guess we know where my mind goes...
Quoted from jrpinball:As long as your project doesn't do anythig that will alter or otherwise harm the glass, it should be fine. You have only the glass, or the entire top lightbox?
Only the BG. I just didn't want take a BG out of circulation if it is one of the hard to find BG's. I bought this glass for $40.00 bucks and it is in really good (9 or better). Wasn't looking just happened up on it and thought I could make a shadow box with lights behind it.
Quoted from OTTOgd:Gordon Morison's Gottlieb 'Canada Dry'
Too bad there is no image of Canada Dry "Tahitian Treat", my favorite carbonated punch drink and now hard to find cheap as it is made in limited batches these days.
"Delaware Punch" would be my favorite non carbonated, and it originated in Texas.

Oh yeah that's a classic for sure.
