    Hello,

I ve always been into DMD pinball, but recently started checking ''80 pinball machnes. I am into electronic music and I like the early electronics sound of some of these machines.

Which ones have an electronic techy/minimal/drony soundtrack? I saw a video of Genesis by Gottlieb and I liked it. Any suggestion on something similar? Please only electronic music, no rock'n'roll, rock, country and similar.

For more electronic music, check out:

    Pinbot
    The Machine: Bride of Pinbot
    Robowar
    TX Sector

It doesn't get better than those.

Recordings dont do most of these soundtracks justice - you need to hear it coming off the machine.

Swords of Fury - probably my favorite
Transporter the Rescue - Maybe not great but a really catchy tune

Swords of Fury is one of the best.
I also really like the sounds in Alien Star.

Look at some of the classic Bally SS games on YouTube.
    Centaur
    Flash Gordon
    Vector

    Etc, etc

Devils dare has a Great gritty mean saw synth rythm. And the gottlieb sound effects are nice.

    BK2K is awesome.
SoF is sweet especially when you lock some balls.
TX sector is a must in this category.

Gladiators has an awesome 80's sound!

And WAY more fun than tx-sector...

Banzai Run! Reminds me of lots of SNES driving games.

F14 Tomcat has a great soundtrack.

    1.

    2.

    3.

    Edit:
    4.

Forgot all about Robocop. This is one amazing sounding machine. Amazing clarity, deep bass and just amazingly frenetic sound bites. Somebody please make a good recording of this soundtrack and put it on Youtube. I'd buy that for a dollar.

    Edit number two
    5.

Damn, forgot another one. Space Station is so up there as well. The buildup of the soundtrack towards multiball on this machine is breathtaking when you pay attention to it. First, with every locked ball, the slow music changes ever so slightly. Then it's multiball with its pumping soundtrack. After that, should you manage to redock your balls, the machine goes ballistic. And I haven't even started about the high score music yet. A breathtaking package.

One of my faves is Time Machine. It reminds me of John Carpenter music.

    Pin•Bot and SOF for sure!!

    #19 7 years ago

Just about any System 11 game.

    #20 7 years ago

Check out Roller Games. Be careful however. Once heard, it can never be un-heard.

TX-Sector is great too but the best would have to be Black Knight 2000.

    #21 7 years ago

Whirlwind is my favorite. It reminds me of Mega Man music.

    #22 7 years ago

+1 fo Robo War, maybe the best soundtrack ever!

    #23 7 years ago

Pinbot and the other machines which use the same music. Space Station and Big Guns I think.

bk2k is very nostalgic for me, and has the most amazing music for it's time (real singers). swords of fury is great, TX-sector is great. I love space station for it's theme, but the music is over the top awesome.

EATPM and Bride of pinbot also have incredible music soundtracks.

Course I have. Love you too!

What? No love for Bad Cats here?

I'll throw another vote for Pin-Bot as well. The music on it is excellent and I've got the few scores it has in MP3 format and stuffed it on my phone along with the voice tracks too.

TX-sector, Genesis, DE TimeMachine, Zaccaria Spooky, Big House, Pin*Bot to mention a few......
