Up in the air over these 2 as my first pin for the family. Any recommendations on the best distributor to go through for price/service?

Here's a vote for Gary at Abel Electronics. Actually, there are a few great guys and distributors to work with.
Quoted from ptrav1:flipnout pinball. Larry is awesome
I second this. FlipnOut Pinball is who I get all my games from. Larry is the best.
I met Larry and his wife at the SFGE, he was who I was likely going to buy from. He is a cool guy. Thanks for the confirmation.

Quoted from woody76:Larry at FlipnOut Pinball. He is the man.
Larry is a great guy that I deal with for most of my NIB games. There's lots of good guys out there but if you've already met and like Larry they you have your answer
Greg at Pinball Pro has been amazing--even took my call at home after hours, and he provides regular updates.. Greg is the owner so you don't deal with a middleman. I believe he only sells CGC
Quoted from Chicoman:I'll toss a vote for JJ @ Game Exchange. AFM LE is my 2nd NIB pin and JJ certainly is excellent to deal with. Both transactions have gone perfect!
Just got my Kiss Premium from JJ. Very cool to deal with........
Thanks guys for the vote of confidence. FYI I do have two AFMR SE's in stock. Also have a few LE allocations left.
I've kinda jumped around, haven't stuck with one distributor. I've purchased a couple from JJ at game exchange, always went well. Plus they are local for when I need that instant gratification. I purchased a couple from Automated services and they were always good. AFMr I am getting from PPS. Really all of those transactions have been great. The rest of my games came from local craigslist ads, and those have all been excellent transactions.
Is it even worth emailing or calling around to get the best price? Are these games all locked in at the same price?
Thinking about AFMr Special edition...

Yes as far as I can tell all prices appear to be locked across all retailers I have called for all different makers stern JJp etc. kind of sucks seems like if you want NIB anything there is no good deals between Distro’s anymore. The prices are insane these days
Quoted from Coz:That’s my problem right now. Chose MMr or AFMr........they’re both great. Can’t afford both.
I have owned both seemed to similar sold AFMR kept MMR deeper code and more fun IMO. Both are exceptional games and alot of it will come down to theme and which you like more. Chicago Gaming is making some awesome remakes and great quality games. Looking forward to a monster bash remake:-/ fingers crossed
