One deal that I clearly remember is a 1957 Bally ABC Shuffle, a 14' United Bowling Alley ball bowler, a
1955 United Derby Roll, and a 1959 Rocket Shuffle (I believe is what it was) all nice shape for $100.00
But the one that stands out the most is the United 28' MBA Ball Bowler for $400.00
And another that I just remembered is a 1949 Scientific Machine Batting Practice for $10.00
These deals were all back in the 90s..
$400 Roadshow. HUO but a good bit dirty with cables plugged in wrong and such. Once I sorted the cables it worked great. The one pin I regret is a $1200 Funhouse. First guy was a no-show and I was second in line dealing with that rarest of characters, an honorable CL seller. The guy says do you still want it? I really didn't have the room, so I said no. I still regret that. I will probably never get that opportunity again. That's the one pin that's kinda missing from the collection.
Asteroids Deluxe $50. Seller said it played blind. Got it home and after a few turns to the monitor adjustment board....played perfectly.
United Strike Zone puck bowler $100. One board needed some work.
Both deals this year.
Ive gotten most pins ive owned at good prices . The 1400 bsd , 1250 fs, 900 hs2, 600 smb, 2500 rbion, 1700 jm, 1900 ft , loaded cftbl 4200 are a few of them.
800 dollars for an f355 challenge deluxe. Sold the only crt out of it that was not working, threw in a 26 inch lcd off cl, and bought a cheap naomi arcade game i parted out so the board was free. Had less than 900 in it.
800 for a sopranos that i sold for 3200 a month later.
600 for a fastbreak with the wooden marquee.
My best deals have been trades. I have a radical that I did two trades and have -50 in. Probably my favorite deal.
