Queen in 1980 at Madison Square Garden

I bet that was awesome. I can only imagine.

I went to see Dave Matthews Band for the first time a month ago. The quality of sound and the talent of the band was great. There are some great musicians in that band. They played for 3 hours straight and came back for an encore of 3 songs. I don't know how many people fit in Deer Creek but there were a lot.

I'm going to Nashville in November and hoping to see a good show. Anyone have any Nashville suggestions? If I can't find a good band in a club I may just go to the Grande Ole Opry.

Quoted from o-din:

They started out with Whip It, it seemed to get it out of the way. It wasn't even a hit yet. Then a couple other new songs.
By the time they got to Swelling Itching Brain midway thru, they had cut loose and Mothersbaugh took over. They were not robots, they were running, jumping and writhing on the stage. They put on one of the most energetic performances I had ever seen and left themselves and everybody in there sweaty and spent.

That reminds me, I would have loved to see Blondie around that time. Did you ever get to see them O-din?
