My two favorite albums for Christmas are

John Denver “rocky mountain Christmas” -reminds me of childhood. great album all the way through. Has a wonderful song called aspenglow
Sharon jones and the dap kings “It’s a holiday soul party” album. (Family favorite)
Not a bad song on the record.

One of my Christmas traditions for decades now is "Merry Christmas With The Supremes" from start to finish since every track is good.

Rusty Chevrolet

I think I lived this nightmare. Teenager in a 1970 Ranchero that I scraped together enough to buy primer cans of gray to try and cover up the rust. It didn't last long. I had to park down the street from high school. At least it wasn't the school bus. I think it started out white. No grill, mostly no actual bumper. Air bags, seriously no. Seat belts probably there somewhere under what was left of the seat. Brakes, kinda. Go into park, nope just reverse and drive randomly. I'm not sure if my parents were trying to kill me in that death trap. And of course the go cart from hell that got crashed non stop. lol. Thanks Force for a fun thread and Merry Christmas everyone.

A YouTuber has just managed to top the UK Christmas charts for the 5th CONSECUTIVE YEAR! Beating The Beatles record. Profits all to charity of course. A sad day in the history of music.

I’m not a Taylor swift fan, but I’d rather hear this

My dad bought some Country Christmas album package off a TV ad back in the 70's. We listened to it each year. Had Christmas songs by the old Country greats - Cash, Dean, Morgan, Robbins - etc.

If you like What Child is This - give this one a listen. It's very haunting...and I still love it to this day.
