This happened last year. In early December 2012, I drove up to Phoebe Smith's place to trade for a Whirlwind for my 10 year old daughter. I surprised her on Christmas day and her reaction was priceless. She still loves Whirlwind and says it was (and will always be) the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!!

She played a Whirlwind ~35 times (over 3 days) at the Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown in 2011 and had wanted one ever since. She played Whitewater there and said it was a yawner... She doesn't know what pin hype is so she can form her own opinions... Fast Draw was also a favorite of hers at the show so she has good taste.

Pinbot and Time Machine are gone now. I replaced them with Haunted House and Addams Family. I bought the Addams about a week ago but my 9 year old figured it out before I even went to get it so no Christmas surprise this year... I never said a word, she must have ESP...

I have all of my games on Teflon sliders and yes, I have to slide King Of Diamonds and Slick Chick out of the way to take the glass off of Funhouse or Whirlwind...
