Cinnamon Life
Here’s one NOT to get. Lucky Charms, good. Frosted Flakes, great. Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes, nasty crap.
I get that they have to reduce sugar to compensate for the marshmallows, but the flakes are smaller, tougher and taste like a cheap imitation. Go with Froot Loops with marshmallows instead.

That doesn’t look good at all.

I sure wish it was still readily available.
Quoted from xeneize:j_m_ You are the man! Order placed!
I meant to look for it locally for you (but forgot). I'll let you know if I locate it, since it might still be cheaper than from shopfoodex.com

I prefer the Leslie Nielsen looking dude over the cartoon.
Twipy nomination for a long running good vibe thread.
I know nothing to do with pinball but seeing this pop back up never bothers me and on weekend mornings its most welcome.
My daughter is currently only eating Fruity Pebbles which are nice. It's a shame I have to wait years to establish the history of Capt. Crunch before whipping out the "whoops all crunchberries" variety.
Have any of you guys tried BLASTED SHREDS? The stuff is ridiculous. The box weighs like three times what a box of cereal should weigh.

Tried the peanut butter and chocolate ones. You are right, they are definitely dense. Pretty good, though.

I agree! They require milk - kind of brutal dry - but I'm way into them.
Like having muddy buddies for breakfast.
Can't go wrong with Lucky Charms. But nowadays I prefer Shredded wheat with bran . Dry with small pretzels etc
I used to love honeycomb, but I think that they changed the recipe. it's got a strange chemical taste to it now (to me)
New from Kellogg's:

Quoted from toastbot:Found these @ Dollar General. It's basically 50% Golden Grahams, 25% Cocoa Puffs, 25% marshmallows. Highly recommend!
Neat! Im still on the Reese's puffs. Ive been trying to find count chocola for a while now....getting hard to find.
I heard all sugary cereals are in limbo....pretty sad. This is my go to dessert at night.

Apparently it still is. I found some at 99 Cents Only a few wees ago.

It seems like none of the cereals taste the same as when I was growing up.
Remember when:
Frosted Flakes were Sugar Frosted Flakes
Honey Smacks were Sugar Smacks
Super Golden Crisp was Super Sugar Crisp
I also used to love post oat flakes. Wish they still made them.
SpongeBob cereal was also pretty good.
Quoted from Grayman_EM:Been eating them since I was a kid. Rice too with milk & sugar.

Hope you enjoy round up with your oats...

Had to resurrect this thread to champion my NEW favorite (breakfast crack) cereal!

So damn good with lightly toasted Trader Joe’s cracked wheat sourdough and some Skippy Natural... *Homer drool*
But how does it taste?
Well,
If you grew up loving General Mills original 82’ S’Mores Grahams like I did, you can finally get your fix again!

They’re THAT good!
Kellogg’s Smorz can officially suck it!!!
so...
kellogg's had to take honey smacks off of the market due to cases of salmonella
it's back on the shelves, touting "new recipe!" (we all know what that means), and yep, they taste like garbage now. worse thing is that I reside in michigan, only about 2 hours from the kellogg's home plant in battle creek and on the side of the box it states "this is a product of spain" what the heck?!?

This looks like the name-brand version of the stuff I posted a few months ago.
BTW
Malt-O-Meal S'mores: $0.17/oz
Post Honey Maid S'mores: $0.30/oz

Dig 'Em......
From reading thru the posts here in this thread topic, I don't feel like we have narrowed down which cereal is the best cereal ever.
Pretty sure every cereal ever made has been nominated though.
Guess we need a poll added.
Newsflash: Cracklin Oat Bran, Grape Nut O's, Kix, and Quaker Oats, are not the best cereal ever.
Wheat Honeys and Rice Honeys had the the best toys and the cereal was tasty. My favorite by far as a kid.
I'd really love a company like Kellogg's to bring back their cereals from the 60s/70s using the same recipes and offer the same pack-in toys. that would be awesome

My favorite toy came in a box of General Mills Chex.
