If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the Marcos unit.
It has an extra fuse for the General Illumination circuit so there are two - one fuse for the playfield, the other for the backbox.
The 620 ohm resistor used is rated to 15 watts compared to the 10 watt part on the Rottendog.
It's using two 35 amp bridge rectifiers as per Bally spec. With any luck they might be positioned in the original location Bally designed them to and maybe they can be mounted underneath the PCB to take advantage of the large metal baseplate as a heatsink. The bridge rectifier running the switched illumination circuit will otherwise get quite hot if you're running incandescent lamps.
