    Best: the shadow

Good: batman forever (driving the batmobile rocks!)

Worst: video mode in general. It's just dumb and they are all essentially the same.

Best: FT & STTNG - both cool and have opportunity for EB
Worst - I don't have one, but I'll have a chance to play JP: the Lost World to see how terrible it may be

Don't play it. I don't want to be responsible for that. :O

OK, I'll describe LW's mode--don't blame the messenger! There's a rope hanging left and center screen, a dinosaur head to the right, facing left. You're on the leftmost rope, swinging back and forth. (think Pitfall)

Press the ball launch button once as you're swinging left to right. You jump to the middle rope. Press the launch button again and you fly over the dinosaurs's head or into his mouth. It doesn't matter which, you get 350k. If you don't press or press while swinging back, you fall with a scream and get 50k.

That's it. 2 presses of the launch button. And timing is VERY lenient, easy as hell. And no score difference if you swing over the dinosaur or into his mouth.

    worst. video. mode. ever.

The worse has to be the deleted one in Cirqus Voltaire. Not Rooney, which I love, but the extra one.

No wonder it was deleted. All wonder why Cameron Silver put it back in the home ROM.

All respect to the man for take the time and effort to make this after release brush up of bugs and unfortunete design issues. But that video mode was obviously left out for a good reason. I mean, the game idea itself can work out, but it needs some fine tuning of the timing, graphics and length.

The best video mode, by far, is Whodunnit. It utilizes the Dmd in a way that perfectly complements the theme as well as the game play itself.

The worst would be the Video Modes for Eight Ball Wizard.... especially the flying cue ball.

Also the Spitting Pontoon Video mode for Championship Pub is pretty horrendous, come to think of it.

Surprised so many complaints about DW, try it on hare mode, it is way more fun. On easy and medium it is the same patterns but harder modes it becomes really difficult

Only one video mode to rule them all!!!.........Apollo 13 Lunar Lander!! "Come on rookie, park that thing!".....Link:

It's a shame most of the video modes are so bad. Perhaps CGC will consider a revamp someday.

The only one I've enjoyed is in Pro Pinball Timeshock Ultra. If you haven't seen it:

Favorite video modes. Fishtales, sttng, bsd

    Hardest video mode. Johnny Mnenomic

A few years ago, I came up with the idea of creating a video mode using actual movie footage. The player makes simple QTE inputs using the flippers to complete the mode (like Dragon's Lair or Space Ace).

Here I created a video mode for my Tron Legacy pinball game:

    That is pretty cool SLAM!!!!

Fishtales and BSD are my favorites

I haven’t played many video modes so these are just what I like the most and what I dislike the most.

    Most liked: T2

Least liked: GoT (although I really like the game. Might be one of my favorites).

Probably the worst video mode, Krieger's "drum hero" to Rush's YYZ. Over 4 minutes if you're really good!

Not a fan of video modes, but Shadow is VERY challenging and fun ( try to get the extra ball!) even after having played it thousands of times.
JM is also actually very difficult and it takes time to understand properly how to control. Once you do, its a pretty good one.
BSD is made of patterns, but setting it very hard is super fast and so many underwolves are coming that its impossible to count them, and you have to rely entirely on your reflexes. Another good one.

My two favourites are BSD and FishTales. They are so much fun and a decent challenge.

Game of Thrones is without a doubt the worst one i have played. Why they ever thought that was a good idea is beyond me.

At least on GoT you never have to play it if you don't want to.

Agreed, Timeshock! video mode is good fun (but I do wish someone would explain what the collectables are). I never could get the hang of level 3 though
