Fish tales also has one drop target in front of the ball lock.

Man, just goes to show how different everyone's taste is. I owned a HS2. Didnt last long. Got boring fast. The only one on this list I dislike more is BSD. I read everybody's raves about mist multiball and stacking. .. i just don't get it. Zzzzzzz. Glad people like it but not my cup of tea.

The rest of the games on the list I like and would rank pretty close. DW gets my vote though just out of nostalgia from growing up watching it with my dad and brothers.

Vampires do exist. And this one we fight, this one we face, has the strength of twenty or more people, and you can testify for that, Mr. Harker. But he can also control the meaner things of life: the bat, the rodent, the wolf. He can appear as mist, as vapour, as fog, and vanish at will. Now all these things Dracula can do, but he is not free. He must rest in the sacred earth of his homeland to gain his evil power. It is here that we must find him and destroy him utterly.

I'm just here to say how much I hate these multi-round voting threads.

My favorite $2500-ish DMDs are the ones I've kept in my collection: Congo, Dirty Harry, JM and RFM (not a DMD).

Bsd has a drop target

Congo no longer is that that cheap but is my favorite. Jm u can get for 1800-2k which y its not listed but I love it also.

Would love to find a BSD for 2500, but those are getting to be like Congo.

Yea thats true also and the poll show y lol. Ive thought about selling my nice one for around 3 but im worried ill want it back and it just keeps going vup in price

#63 8 years ago

Lol, yep - I considered selling Congo at $3000, but now I just think of it as good trade-bait (for 3-month temp trades).

Are there any drops or spinners in the final-9?

WCS has a spinner.

aghhhhh you aren't going to eat that , are ya?

#70 8 years ago

Is this the last round or are you going to do a final with the top X (3/4?) games from this round?

#71 8 years ago
Quoted from Caucasian2Step:

There is good reason why WCS is in at least one bank at PAPA nearly every year. The game is a player and can be "tuned" quite easily to be kid friendly or A-bank evil.
After that:
BSD followed by FT and Dr. Who.
All 4 of those titles are true players.

Same top four but with a different favorite, BSD for me.

Demo Man is one of the best on the list, but I don't think it's a $2500 pin. Actually, come to think of it, several of them aren't $2500 pins, unless they are pristine. But that's just me.

I picked WCS for the shot variety, overall speed and the amount of things to do. I would have picked BSD, but there just isn't as much to do in the game once you figure it out.

#78 8 years ago

I went BSD but its good to see FT at second(played multiple games on it last night after league). I just love those those freaking ramps.

for some reason i can keep playing game after game on these simple yet brutal games. Both have fun video modes as well

but to be honest i have a good time on all of these games on this list

It is easier picking out the few losers in this bunch. Demo man to me feels like a pinball machine that was put together with a checklist.
Need:
Ramps
Add some more ramps just in case.
Add cheap toy so it is just not ramps.
Add guns if out of room
Add something showing stallone's physic because his agent said the translite isn't doing it

To me it feels like a hit the ramp and wait for it to return game. Ts has ramps and combos the same but it manages to keep the pace up and comboing everything is a pretty tough task.

I think this shouldn't have been restricted to 90s games. 2500 gets you a nice wpt or nascar/dale Earnhardt. I would put either up against this bunch.

Between JM and BSD in my head...vote goes to JM

Could not agree more...JM and BSD...

I still don't understand the love for BSD.

Nor do I. It is butt-friggin-ugly, and I don't see any excitement in the game play or sound.

#87 8 years ago

Do you believe in destiny? That even the powers of time can be altered for a single purpose? That the luckiest man who walks on this earth is the one who finds true love?

[about the wolves that are howling] Listen to them: the children of the night. What sweet music they make.

The blood is the life... and it shall be mine.

I shall rise from my own death, to avenge hers with all the powers of darkness.

I am the monster that breathing men would kill. I am Dracula.
