    Quoted from EMsInKC:

I've done it a few times. The key is get all the bumpers lit and get a few shots at the target when it is lit for 300. The target though can be a drain shot.

I believe you're talking about winning a replay by score. I'm referring to the difficulty of lighting the red "specials" on the playfield to win replays. I've never done it. It's even difficult for Vic Camp on his game, and his games don't tilt!

We were actually talking Crosstown here, not Central Park. I have not yet turned over Crosstown, but have Subway, and his advice is light all bumpers on crosstown and then shoot the center for 300 points to get over the top at 2000. Subway (with 10,000 over the top) I have done and I am on the hunt to turn it over twice for my next personal best (>20,000)

But as for Central Park, I have not yet turned it over, but I have got both green and yellow targets to special, and got all my point specials up to 1800 but have never turned it over, but I have come close. Have not got a special yet by completing the 7th rack, but there is a special awarded for every rack past 6. That is nearly impossible with only 5 balls. My tilts work just fine, otherwise this conversation is moot. You take the tilt bobs off only for parties. my personal best was 11 specials on one dime, only besting a 7 special run before it. But if memory serves, only 7 specials are to be had on points, and anything above that requires lighting and scoring the specials at the center targets.

I never played Central Park. Doesn't the scoring max out at 1,999?
2,000 would be a flip, or are you talking another 8K?!
I haven't played Ice Revue, but for me, Ice Show's the hardest 4
digit Wedge Head to flip. Flipper's probably in the top few also..

Just to clarify, I own Central Park and Subway, my Crosstown play has been at Tim Arnold’s PHOF

Central Park replay machine, max score 1999 - haven’t done it yet, but have scored almost all specials
Crosstown replay machine, max score 1999 - haven’t done it yet, but have scored some specials
Subway Add A Ball machine, max score 9999 - done it several times - now looking to double it

By law of averages, an over the top score on my Subway requires a 33 ball game to turn it over. My best over the top game was a 25 ball romp so I had a couple of ripper balls.

Yes, I was thinking 1,999 max on Replay machines that had lit 1,000.
I believe Trade Winds and Star Jet are the only machines I have set up where
the 1,000 lights. Star Jet can be flipped, but Trade Winds would be rough.
All others set up are AABs. To me, not any of the 4 digit AAB Wedge Heads are
a piece of cake to flip, but if the High Score adjustment was at the norm (2,000/
4,000 or 3,000/5,000) I wouldn't be surprised if Ice Show has never been flipped.
It's a tough one to get a high score on..

I used to have a San Francisco which was Williams's last game with a gobble hole. Fun two player game, and when you get yer gobble hole up to 500, but then drain between the flippers, yer bummed. Especially if you are competing. Really fun and difficult game.

Actually put that one on my list too.
