TSPP was my first pin and mine was in need of a shop job as well. Depending on condition, I just took out what was needed so that I can reach all the spots on the PF to clean it. Basically, the main ramp, Homer and the upper PF. The upper PF is not as bad as it looks. You will see where the wires come down on the bottom of the PF, mark the molex connectos with a sharpie, un plug em, back up top, unscrew the nuts holding the upper PF down and you should be able to carefully pull it out (a second pair of hands is handy here). Find a good spot to rest it and you are good to go. You can reach the majority of the PF now to clean and wax it. replace rubbers, posts, swap bulbs out, etc.

As others have said, take lots of pics. just create a thread here "TSPP first shop job" to document the process in case you need to go back and look at something. Don't be shocked if you run into a prob, but just post here for help. Take your time and you will do fine.
