    Hi there! Did you make a led light device to test continuity? So for example if the circuit has continuity the led will light up? If that's what you are using it seems normal that the led light would be more dim if there is a resistor in the circuit tested. I'm no expert either though. Maybe you could use your dmm set for measuring ohms/resistance and check continuity that way. If there is zero resistance there is no continuity and if there is resistance there is continuity. Hope you make your stuff work!
