Responses to threads like this are what pinball stewardship is all about. With demand seemingly (I don't buy or sell that often) on the rise for affordable pins in "good" condition, the more games we can bring back from the brink the bigger the fan base gets. It's good for all sections of the industry.
Keep the pix coming!
Take this, Black Knight! Lookee here what I done did with trash!

Sure, it took several MONTHS for me to finish my first repaint. I learned a great deal about re-creating playfield graphics by repainting them by hand. I felt it was my duty as a pinball steward to make the game Cosmetically Appealing for Play (c). It may be half-assed to some, but I still have it after all these years and it still looks fine. Another Rattle Can Rejuvenation success!
Not much of a change here. This is my black rose after I cleaned, rebuilt the flippers, and installed LED inserts and spots. The game room before and after was much more rewarding

Quoted from Buzz:Very cool looking game room. Please post more in the game room thread, would love to see more
Thanks, I posted photos of the transition in the "Game Room" thread a while back... I really enjoy these threads, its neat seeing all the time and effort everyone spends on this hobby, not to mention the wealth of knowledge and help available. Hopefully I'll have more game pics in the future, I'm planning on going through Wh20 and Black Rose this winter, but I've been really busy lately,so we'll see if I have the time.
Oh I'm all for this. More detailed restorations documented in my post history.
Most time I have invested in a filthy ES with tons of ball swirl and bad insert decals. Cleaned up, touched up, clear coated.

Last summer I found a dead Getaway that started having a playfield swap 5 years prior and then the guy's wife started popping out kids. Bought it all in boxes and fortunately most of it was there!

You also moved the under cabinet led lighting under the bed. Nice one!

Quoted from ForceFlow:Game would not boot. After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, it's flipping once more
Did you get this in MA by chance?

Originally, yes. But there was a different one listed one listed on Boston craigslist section a few months back.
The one I restored is actually for sale again on the Utica NY CL section.

Ha! I was the first one to look at that. It's a really cool game. Had to pass as I knew it was waaaaay beyond my capabilities.
One of my first posts...
