Ok, so Ben Heck was on Kaneda and said that his new game was taking a long time due to "getting the license nailed down". He also said he would love to make a "Rampage" pin. He mentioned it to Charlie at Spooky, but Charlie said he was so tired of dealing with Warner Brothers. Beetle Juice is a Warner Brothers film.
BOOM. Be prepared for BeetleJuice with Franci artwork late 2021 or 2022!
It would be a cool theme, but you wouldn't have Elfman's killer score or Michael Keaton, just some lame sound-a-like shouting at you through the game.
And there's not enough content in a single movie to make a modern pinball game in 2021. TV shows or movie series offer much more content to pick through for a deeper more engaging ruleset. Go shopping for....Mad Max, Matrix, Bill and Ted's Most Excellent Pinball...stuff like that.
Wondering if a possible pin would be based off of the original film, upcoming film or combination of both.
I'm stoked Keaton is gonna do it and it also says Elfman is doing the music again.
Kaneda says Beetlejuice is coming from Spooky.
I assume it will be based around movie 1 only, but there’s a whole new audience that would love to see Jenna Ortega in this one.
