IPA's seem to dominate the brewery and restaurant menus here in Seattle. I haven't found one I like yet (too floral/piney/bitter) and I much prefer lagers and ales.
Lite beers are a joke - so no good poll option unfortunately.

I wouldn't say IPAs are an acquired taste. Most people either like them or don't.
Right now in my fridge is Bear Republic Racer 5, Lagunitas IPA and Coors Light.
To each his/her own.
