Really nice 1978 Bally Playboy for sale.

Backglass is in excellent condition. Couple of pinholes at the most.

Playfield has been touched up and clearcoated with automotive clear and looks nice. Super shiny and all of the inserts are smooth! Absolutely NO cheesy stickers/decals were used. Plastics are all nice originals with no cracks or chips.

Cabinet has been refreshed. The pinks(purples) were repainted. The front of the head was sprayed and some of the blacks were sprayed as well. The rest was touched up. It does have a few dings that were not filled with putty and sanded smooth. It still however looks very nice.

Great set of original legs - on the machine, that is

Fully LED'ed.

All of the boards have been gone over. They have been upgraded and have had suspect, over-aged, and stressed out components replaced as well as mods performed to make them more reliable.

Everything rebuilt with tons of new parts. Plays fantastic.

May trade, but filled to the gills and kinda need some room for my other projects.

I chose not to fill, sand, and repaint the whole cab, so there are maybe three flaws(GASP)
On the head above the lock there is a chunk out of the wood which I didn't fill with putty.

Same with the upper most corner on the rear of the head. There is a little area that I just touched up.

Better lighting with this pic to show how terrible of a person I am for just touching it up

Really looks fine in person.

And finally, a close up of the front where there is an area of imperfection along the left edge.

Info on the BG LED's;
Cointaker frosted regulars for the most part I believe.
Played around with it for a bit until I was happy. I only had a couple of pinks lying about. Thought(still think) that they would look good behind some of the controlled lights, but the reds I used worked well. SPSA has pink. Some have orange and some yellow to match the BG ink. Likewise, because of the lack of pinks in my stash, cool whites went behind the player up bunnies. Warm whites behind the PLAYBOY. Red behind the PB Logo(washed out in the pic of the BG) Oranges and yellows for the girls. Some blues where appropriate.

Still looks washed
4 oranges behind girls and Heff - rest yellow.
Upper right is red behind bunny.
Cool whites not blue behind the 4 "this player up" bunnies.
Hope this clarifies.

SOLD.
Thanks for the interest.

And, for those who are tracking prices, it sold for more than I was asking.

Congrats. That was a really "attractive" machine..

$2750 on eBay, I was watching it and couldn't believe how it kept jumping up.
After eBay fees $2500.
Congrats!

Just try and avoid payment by paypal as the buyer has six months to "return it."
