I honestly think the game looks cool and I can't wait to play it. The only problem I have is the price. In my opinion, the game should cost less than your typical Stern pro, and it's obviously going to cost WAY more.

Quoted from Guinnesstime:Personally I can't wait for a Supertramp Star Gazer.
... or a Barry Manilow Catacomb.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Their bread and butter will ALWAYS BE the affordable, awesome games like Iron Maiden.
It just goes to show how skewed our perception of money is in this hobby when we think a $5K+ game is affordable.
Quoted from epthegeek:What did a brand new Seawitch cost in 1980? What would that be if adjusted for inflation?
While I would be interested to know what they went for, it's not really a fair comparison. The games back then were almost all being routed. Operators were buying the games as investments. They could recoup all their money and still have the game continue to earn out on location. Most of us these days are buying them as toys.
Quoted from epthegeek:.... that retain most of their value and can be re-sold when you're ready without taking much of a hit.
True, but the games back then still had much more fundamental value. If you had a busy location, the game could pay for itself many times over. These days, we are lucky to break even on a NIB game. That's a big difference.
