So - looking for suggestions for my Laser Cue This is my only pin. I'm going to have to send the boards out for repair - diagnostic LED stuck on 0. Since it's out of commission, was thinking about trying to clean up the playfield. I haven't been able to find a playfield overlay, so - what do you guys suggest I do with this? Am I wasting my time If clean/wax/etc?

I'd play it and enjoy it...

Clean and wax sure, though the bare spots won't take the wax well. Anything more might be overkill for that one. Some clear coat would make it play smoother, if you really want to go for it. But, I'm not sure it will ever be a looker again, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Any attempts to fix it are basically going to amount to making an overlay yourself...

It could be touched up and cleared and look fine...but that would take time and patience. If you are sending the boards out for repair (which won't equal the amount of time to restore the PF and since it is your only game...) I would clean it up and change bulbs, rubbers and get anything else that might need repair checked out while you are waiting for the boards, then wax it and play it. If you decide that you really want to keep it and fix it up then go for the PF restore at that point (and most likely by that time you will have at least 1 more pin to play while LC is down) . I wouldn't put the time into it unless you decide it is a keeper. I love me some Laser Cue and would go for the restore (as long as I had something else to play while it is down) but that's just me!!
