when I first turn on machine after sitting awhile it starts on 2 players. you can shut it off start it again and then it is normal. Anybody have any ideas.Thanks Bill

So you press the start button one time and the machine starts a two player game?
What happens if you complete the two player game, then press the start button? Back to normal or still malfunctioning?
Info on the Pinwiki suggests the ball count unit may be responsible for such a malfunction.

The player selection should be controlled by the coin unit relay and the 2nd coin unit relay. Look at these relays to see if their switch contacts are clean and adjusted properly. Do you have a schematic for the machine?
