Through USPS/Canada post, the receiver will get billed 9.95 for customs fee, and 15% for HST to be paid to the government.
Through UPS, the receiver will probably get hit with some bogus processing fee, usually about 30% of the value of the shipment, to be paid to UPS. Sometimes with Fedex too.
I'm not the only Canadian who won't buy something if UPS is the only shipping option.
