Just joined the club, thanks Wayne!

Can't believe this game is only at 272 on the chart, it's way better than that.

Has anyone tried lubricating the buck motor? Mine is pretty noisy, doesn't bother me much but I'm selling it and the buyer is concerned about the noise meaning the motor could be on the way out.

Quoted from Outlane-Avoider:

The Buck motor was noisy when that game was at mine on loan a year ago, so I wouldn't think it is getting worse.
I've played a BBH on location where the juddering from the motor was shaking the game like a shaker motor!

Had a mess about with it today, the motor's fairly quiet with nothing attached to it, so I've put some extra washers under the motor bracket to move it away from the playfield a bit, sounds much better now. I can imagine in the long term there's going to be a few problems with parts wearing out.

Still a great game, played it a lot in the short time I've owned it, sad to see it leave but with others incoming something has to go.

Yep I realised my error after I ran the motor on it's own, never really looked at it before as it didn't bother me either.

I experimented with different amounts of washers to get the quietest results, with the motor bracket slightly further away from the playfield it puts more pressure on the rod which dampens the noise, too much and it judders or won't move at all. Yes a new or straightened rod would be the ideal solution but the buyer is just happy that the motor is fine.

Now my last chance to go for Open Season, or just to complete Bird for once would be nice.
