Quoted from SDM0:What gauge wire is this on my Bugs Bunny?
Does this help?

Sure!
Either will work.
But I really appreciate wire-bot:

You can buy a ten foot length of 18ga Yellow wire for a couple of bucks and of course shipping costs. Or the 18ga Yellow with a white stripe wire.
They have all the colors and types of wire used in your pinball for that 'I got my pinball fixed right' look.
No, that's basically speaker wire; two wires within insulation.

I would try to match the color of the wire that you are replacing. Red usually means +5v.
Try here:
You could get a range colors for future repairs:
Or just the color you need:
[edit]: I forgot about wirebot...that's a good source too

Thx! The picture from above is from another 11c. The one I need to replace was cut and messed with and now I don't have enough wire to repair it and reach the pins. So I figure I would extend each wire by connecting to new and then butterfly to a connector - the way the original was.
Do you have the tool for inserting the wire into a plug?

Shop around, you can probably find it cheaper. I just used Marcos page for reference.

Woah that is expensive. You use that to push the wires into the connector and it cuts through the rubber so make contact with the wire, right? I did another connector like that once and just sort of pushed it in with a flat head screw driver. Is it risky to do that way?

Yikes, that should be like $8.
Cheaper, but still a little expensive: https://www.pinballlife.com/search.html?Search=idc%20tool

Yes.

It's not the right tool for the job, but in a pinch, sure, you can get the wire inserted with a small screwdriver.

That's why I said to shop around. Marco's prices seem to be way over the top.
The connector dies the actual cutting when you press the wire down on to the contacts blades.

As I said, Shop around. I just used that page as a quick reference.
The first time I saw one of those tools it (and a .100 version) came in a in some sort of a repair kit or video game conversion kit if I recall.
May have been a Midway, Williams or Exidy. Been many years since then.
