Wouldn't it be as simple as pull the caps off, put the art blades on and then caps back in? Every art blade I ever purchased had the holes precut. What am I missing?

Finally in the club! Why isn't this pin in the top 50 on pinside? Such fun to play.

Quoted from fatality83:

Looking to join the club but would like a little price help first. If there was a pristine Baywatch that has little to no cabinet wear/marks, was fully shopped recently with all new rubbers and has all leds and color dmd, what would be a fair price? Trying to see what a nice example of this game would go for so I have an idea what to look for. Thanks

"Pins are only worth the amount someone is willing to pay for" is what most will say but with one you are describing I will go out on a limb and offer $3500. It's a great pin with the only drawback is the theme. Personally I like the theme and a great example of the early to mid 90's nostalgia. There are so many satisfying shots, has good flow, and is packed with great fun.

Quoted from sdpinballa:

They're selling for more than that now. $3500 is a fair price.

I agree completely. Pins are desirable again and fetching prices much higher than just a few years ago.

I tried doing the same. When I got the Baywatch pin, I too started watching the series to understand and to relate to the pin i just purchased. I made it to season 4 and couldn't watch any more. I did actually enjoy the first two season and glad I watched them. But quickly lost interest after season 3. Believe or not, I loved to see Newman in the background. You could tell right away that he was the real deal. But then he spoke a few lines in season 3 and that ruined it for me.

Holy fuck, maybe they'll take an offer?
And it't the ultra rare - Data East one...

Insight into what makes this ultra rare?

Quoted from allsportdvd:

I cleaned the opto boards and it still happens. To change them isn’t cheap. Would that be the only thing causing the coil to fire multiple times every time a ball is launched?

Well if the game keeps shooting out more than one ball at a time when it shouldn't then it most likely an opto problem. If the coil in the shooter lane keeps firing then it is likely the shooter lane switch in front of the plunger needs adjustment or is bad.

I just did a total shop job on my baywatch, which included removing everything on the topside to clean and polish. All back together successfully but now the ball when launched on the skill shot moves quicker and hits the ball gate before it has a chance to open up by the pops. Can i adjust the timing of the gate to open quicker?

Back in the club! This one is pretty rough but with a little love and a lot of work, it will be beautiful once again.

Does anyone have an original translite they would swap for this one, or has one they want to sell?Screenshot_20230824_073735 (resized).jpgScreenshot_20230824_073735 (resized).jpg
It came with the machine I just bought. It looks nice and all but I think I prefer the original look.

Quoted from Good-Times:

Hey question for the group - my wireforms have a little patina on them. Still smooth though. I hear that if you polish them aggressively you'll take the gold zinc plating off. My ideal colour would actually be polished steel / chromed. So I wonder, if I take to them with my Dremel and polishing wheel, could I take them back to a nice shiny silver, or would it not work out too well for me?

If you were to polish them silver, that is how I would do it. Dremel for the hard to reach spots and polishing wheel for the rest. You may have to follow up with some flitz polish by hand.

After months of work, I finally have my Baywatch up and running. I sold my first one and instantly regretted it. I'm so happy to have it back in the lineup.

Quoted from HiRez00:

Hi guys.
I just picked up a Sega Baywatch and after I changed the batteries, the MATCH feature boob jiggle no longer works. Modesty Mode is OFF. So what happened as to why it isn’t working anymore. It worked BEFORE I changed the batteries.
Any help?

I believe it is random. I have factory settings on mine and I get the jiggle once in about 5 plays. Sometimes only the end girl jiggles and sometimes the entire row.
