I'm trying to update to Chad's Code. The original BAYCPUA.400 at 64KB seems small. Is this correct? After I Run Lunar IPS to patch BAYWATCH-CPU-401-patch.ips I get BAYCPUA.400 that is still 64KB just a different time. Is this correct? I want to make sure I have the correct file before having a friend burn a chip. Thanks!

What do you have to do to get asked for your initials on the shark hole?

#2507 5 years ago

Thanks for the answers on the shark letters. When I put in a new rom my initials went away and it had been so long since I scored the Shark jackpot and I forgot what it did.

Sega GI bulbs have to be replaced from the top which is much more difficult than Bally / Williams GI bulbs which can be unscrewed from the bottom of the playfield.

I installed PTHermes' shaker motor kit last week and it is a very nice addition. The instructions were very good. I lost the lamp matrix during the installation, however it had nothing to do with the installation. A fuse by the cabinet Bridge Rectifiers & capacitors went out.

Quoted from northerndude:

What exactly is the ball supposed to do during plunging ?

It depends on which skill shot you choose. If you choose the first one the ball drops into the lanes. If you choose the second one the ball is suppose to travel to the shark flipper where you try to shoot it into the shark hole. If you choose the third the ball is to go into the kick back plunger and you use the left upper flipper to shoot it up the Ironman ramp.

Thanks ! Looks great! I may try with playfield on.

If 2 people do the install its not bad to do it with the playfield on.

Quoted from Soulrider911:

Rough concepr for a topper... It would be underlit with an LED strip, and the white backing would be opaque and have color changing leds in it... we shall see

I like it - it looks great. I have put non factory toppers on Monopoly, POTC & RS.

If you ever decide to make this Topper I'm interested in one.

Quoted from Bakchos:can you swap the flashers for leds or it's better to keep them original ?
i think i remember reading that these did not like leds in the flashers somewhere... ?

Sometimes LED Flashers are too bright and hurt your eyes. If you change to LED flashers you might end up changing a couple back.

Quoted from Pinball_Nate:

did anyone install the vinyl side decals for Baywatch from Tilt Graphics? How do you like them?

I have the "Waves" pinblades and like them.

Has anyone printed the left side railing of the guard shack? Mine is long missing and I would like to purchase something to replace it. Just the top, the posts are still there.

Question on F6 fuse blowing,

F6 on the Playfield Power Board (PPB) or the Power Supply Board (PSB)?
