Quoted from robertg130:

I’m looking for a nice translite
Thanks

Quoted from RyanStl:

I'm guessing robertg130 will also have to change out GI lighting and will find out how fun that is. I still need to put mine back together.

Yeah change all the rings and install the cliffys while you are at it. I didn't have everything I needed so I will be tearing it all apart again next week! Lol

Quoted from FlipperFanatic:

Hello all...I'm not an owner but in need of your knowledge.
Can anyone provide me with the list of required rubbers I'd greatly appreciate it...hate ordering and not getting all or right ones.

Completely agree on the titan lists.

Also replace all gi and pop bumper lighting (stapled to bottom of playfield, should be replaced from above) and install cliffys while doing this.

Quoted from northerndude:

Hey folks. My upper left flipper is weak, can’t make a ramp shot with it at all.
Any ideas what could be a culprit of that weakness? A couple years ago I replaced the coil, sleeve, and it looks right, but man, this thing isn’t functionable
TIA

Check the fuses in the flipper board

#3743 3 years ago
Quoted from northerndude:

Really? Hey
Like a loose fuse holder or a bad connection there?

Look for an actual blown fuse. The boards are under the playfield in the cabinet. The flippers will work with one fuse blown but you won't get full power.

Can any of you guys that have colered wire forms post pictures? I want to get mine powder coated but not sure what color. Possibly 3 different ones.

Quoted from sudsy7:

Those unexpected ball saves are usually when you land in the shark hole, then a couple seconds later you drain, and you "surprisingly" get a Baywatch Will Be Right Back. That is the original design of this game.
Yes, the ball save light is not like most other pinball manufacturers where there is a 1 or 2 second grace period. When it's out, it's over. Original design of the game. I consider the additional 1 or 2 seconds he added for some of the ball savers fair compensation for the abrupt end to the ball saver.
We have it from the horse's mouth, EXACTLY what changes were made WRT the ball saver. Again, I don't consider any of these changes "big difference" or "too generous" in comparison to the original. However, anyone that does always has the option to set game difficulty to Extra Hard, remove outlane posts, jack the the playfield incline to 8.5 degrees, and install 2" flipper bats.

Or just let the ball drain if you don't think you "deserve" the ball save!

Quoted from Grandnational007:

Lol, grown (I'm guessing) men (again, guessing) arguing over a pinball machine, let alone a Baywatch themed one.
This hobby is great!

I agree! I was about to say thanks for the entertainment!

Sure. Would you prefer lights on or off?

Both please

Quoted from isJ:

Just joined and installed 4.01 (Chad's code) --
The DMD goes out after being powered on for awhile.
I am going to swap back to 4.00 to see if it fixes the issue.
Either way: anyone have any experience w/ something similar?

Look up Sega pinball service bulliten 106

Quoted from isJ:

Any idea on the part I should order/quantity? Have a few other things to pick up and could lump sockets in too.

Definitely put led rings in the pop bumpers. All new rubbers. Some may have never been changed without a complete tear down. Get a table and lay the pieces out in order as you take them out. Reverse it when you put them all back together.

I would recommend powder coating the wire forms depending on how they look.

I did colored led for the inserts and cool white for the gi. All from comet.

Do what you like.

Quoted from allsportdvd:

I did powdercoated blue wire forms and apron

Looks good! I'm thinking of a combination of red blue and yellow
