Showing a maverick, but I think you know what we are working on.
Greetings,
Dom
In some sets I provided a red instead of a blue cable, but anyways it's that black goes to black.
To be more precise:
L of the power supply goes to white,
N goes to the black wire.
That is the standard for North American AC voltage signage.
I changed that later in the series to make it more easy and convenient for all and these Cents don't hurt
Quoted from bridgeman:How much USD are these displays shipped to US?
Details over here:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/who-needs-a-sega-192x64-replacement
Shipping to US is 40,-usd

If you want to add some color to your games... I just startet the second run of my RGB.PIN.DMD-XL displays.
People from the first run are totally satisfied, just ask them.
Greetings,
Dom
Some things may be divided and processed by different people, but there has to be one "master" who puts everything together.
Keyframes, masked scenes are hard to share, but since I'm learning myself I may be wrong.
Non-masked scenes like boot animation, sonic surfing, or sonic as shark are good examples of editable scenes that could be distributed among different people.
We could try
still far from public release... but i couldn't wait any longer!
pictures speak more then a thousand words and we all should be very grateful to some people actively developing and contributing to pin2dmd project.
now it's time to get the latest batch out of the shop

Quoted from Langless28:When you color these frames, can you please confirm squid girl? Still don't know if my arms being pulled on here if that's real. Have not seen it yet.
Here you go...
Quoted from bridgeman:I'll be ordering too. When does it release?
Right before Christmas is a realistic time frame.
Even if the coloring isn't done yet, you can still put it in your Pinball and use it as a single color DMD.
Or create a 4-color palette with a very few clicks like I did for the samples below in just a few seconds.
Take out the provided SD-Card off your PIN2DMD-XL, copy the generated file to that card, put it back in and restart your Display, done!
Same for the full colorization:
Copy the provided files to the SD, done!*
*It may be nessecary to do a firmware update, but thats also done with a small programm and a USB cable, files and instructions will be provided.
Quoted from Ben1981:Will this also work with the first generation of PIN2DMD-XL's? You did a hardware change a few months ago, correct?
Thanks for clarification,
Cheers
Should work!
If not, these customers will get a special offer
Quoted from Taygeta:Will there be any conflict with the upcoming ColorDMD and new code? I'd like to use both simultantelosuly.
Overall it will still work but maybe needs some minor adjustments.
As long as image data is not changed it will display the matching scenes correctly.
If speed is changed, we need to adjust that too,
If image data is changed in a particular scene all others will still work.
For that particular scene it needs to be fixed then.
Correct, I'm currently checking with a real machine and hopefully we get some pictures and video up by the end of this week.
Some fixing will follow, but to be honest I don't know how much that will be.
But I'm pretty sure you'll all like it
Again, please support Malenko for his awesome work on several machines!!!
Quoted from Ben1981:Guess you get some extra motivation from the new default highscores
Nice new highscore
Picture proves also PIN2DMD-XL working with ChadH incredible work!
PIN2DMD-XL
Release for Baywatch!!!
Worlds first Colored DMD release for a Sega 192x64 size Game
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/pin2dmd-colorization-of-baywatch#post-4167889
Quoted from pinballsp:
If you want replace your old plasma DMD, you may install my Multicolor DMDMK66 192x64.
But no colorization!!!
Colordmd uses the same panels like pin2dmd does, the higher density of pixel per inch come from the fact that the 64x64 panels have a pixel pitch of 2mm where the standard sized dmds are 2.5mm far from each other (from center to center).
ColorDMD has a different approach then pin2dmd has.
But please don’t derail another thread again.
