And there you have it, drop the mic. Sold.....sounds like their sales pitch is true.
Quoted from sudsy7:Sold. Is there a waiting list I can sign up for the pilot run?
As long as I'm right along side you on that ColorDMD for Baywatch waiting list, please!
Quoted from Whysnow:Sorry, no vid capabilities, but WOW!
What? Still using a flip phone?

That made me laugh. Sure am happy I'm back in this club.

Or paper mache.

Looks like it’s living up to the hype. Well done!
Quoted from sudsy7:Can you make a detailed sketch of what you saw?
I was hoping for an interpretive dance.
Quoted from Taygeta:I’ve been wanting BW in color forever, this is a dream come true!
Personally, when I have dreams about Baywatch, it typically involves something other than the color display!!

Did they sell that one for $2300 with a color DMD? That was a steal!

w/o color DMD
The color DMD looks awesome, I know what I'll be buying if my original ever goes out! Hopefully it'll work with Chad's code.

It does.
Last day of TPF and can't believe this is the only video footage of the new ColorDMD. We don't need Bowen Kerins to play, but surely somebody can start a vertical mode or two, please?

Assuming the color code is complete, then I will be taking my baywatch to MGC in a few weeks.

That's cool, but I just don't understand why there aren't more videos posted this week. Everyone has a smart phone in their pocket - shoot some footage (good, bad, shaky - who cares). Maybe people are just having too good of a time and haven't had time to post them yet - here's hoping.

It’s easy to forget to shoot photos/video of stuff when you’re wrapped up in enjoying the show. If nothing else, there will be proper video and more clear screenshots closer to the time display production is wrapping up, so you can see more of it before you decide to buy or not.

No smartphone here or I would have for you, sorry.
Also, having too much fun to worry about video.

What is MGC?

Largest electronic gaming show. Whole new space this year so even bigger.
My favorite show of all the pinball shows.
My particular Baywatch was loaned to Chad to do the new code and now is with Eric who is doing the colordmd code.
Assuming eric is comoletely done with colordmd code then I told him and Randy I would bring it to MGC so everyone can see the f ished product.
Just got back from TPF. Had a great weekend and the Baywatch in our booth received almost nonstop play throughout the weekend. Thanks again to Mark Brown and Brian Foytik for helping us out with the preview!
The preview was very well received. I saw a number of people capturing videos but most of the games were fairly short and didn’t catch a lot of the modes. Hopefully some more videos will surface but either way we will show off more of the game when we do a formal preview and video some time in the next few weeks.
We’ll also continue to clean up the few minor issues we caught during the weekend, as well as more rigorous testing to have everything ready to go for hardware release.
As always, thanks to all for the continued interest and support for ColorDMD! We sincerely appreciate it.
It took a long time, but this game is finally getting the respect it deserves. Chad's code obviously helped, but it was still a great game even before that.
Went on titan pinball and and purchased a ring kit. I'm going to try some clear, blue and white o-rings. 200.00 order and they are shipped.
Sending the MPU board out for NVRAM and power supply checked over by Ardvark pinball
Quoted from hawkeyexx:Sending the MPU board out for NVRAM
What? Oh, that is something you can do yourself. The old RAM on DE/Sega/Stern Whitestar games are already in an IC socket. Pop out the old one and install the new NVRAM. 30 second upgrade!!! Super easy.
Quoted from hawkeyexx:I need a header pin replaced on the board. I don't have the tools to do that. Thanks for the link.
You have lots of other DE/Sega games you can upgrade to NVRAM.
I do suggest new capacitors on DE/Sega power supplies. 3 of the smaller ones tend to leak and the electrolyte is just as corrosive as battery alkaline. In this case though, the electrolyte is also conductive and can short between a couple of voltage rails taking out the High Voltage.
Quoted from waldo34:Installed the Energi maestro board super easy. In the process I discovered my import from Japan has two stock fans and a different power board. Found this interesting since I purchased the import for the stock shaker.
Did you run out of Lithium AA’s

Ha, 2 Engerizer and 1 Duracell all new Lithium.

I haven’t seen the new Duracell Lithium’s yet. Hope they are less $ than the energizers
Quoted from PinRob:I haven’t seen the new Duracell Lithium’s yet. Hope they are less $ than the energizers
They are expensive, but you don't have to change them very often. I've had the same ones in some of my games for more than 5 years.
