It does, I remember setting my flippers to them. Here's an image I found online that shows them.

Though, I think the way they are set in the image is wrong. My understanding is that on DE/Sega/Stern machines, the flipper bat should be centered on this alignment hole (i.e., pointing straight at it). That is how they were shipped from the factory.
I have some slight wear at the Shark hole. It's not too bad, but my OCD makes me want to cover it with a Cliffy. For those of you that have installed a Cliffy, does it alter the gameplay in any negative way?
I'm going to order a full set of Titan rubbers. Any color recommendations? I'm thinking the playfiled and inserts are already so colorful that white probably makes the most sense. Not sure what to do about the flippers. My game currently has blue rubbers on the main flippers, and red rubbers on the other two. This looks pretty good and I may leave them that way. Any other suggestions?

I went all red per my wife’s request. Titan BE70282B-9C8D-4ED5-BCED-D7349D7C1481 (resized).jpeg

I usually go all white, or all black, depending on theme, and only place colors in specific spots such as slings. That said, the all red looks nice.
I would recommend translucent, or grey if possible, for the shark flipper.

Those Gameblades look sweet !

Quoted from PoMC:Clear on the shark flipper looks best to me. That's what I use.
Thanks! think I might give the translucent a try. To me, the upper flipper is the toughest one to decide on because of the unique pink color. It's hard to envision what color would compliment it best while still fitting in with the rest of the artwork.
Just happened to watch this video a minute ago and it confirms my opinion that blue flipper bands look awful on Baywatch. Red bands all the way.
Quoted from gweempose:Still waiting on some feedback about the Cliffy.
Cliffy is good. Easy to install that one, too (actually it's a 2-piece). Does not affect game play at all.
Quoted from PoMC:I couldn't remember what flipper color I had on the upper left flipper. Here are the pics including the clear band on the shark flipper.
Thanks for the photos! I never would have thought to put yellow on the upper flipper, but it looks good. What is that reflection I'm seeing near the glass channel? Do you have Pin Stadium lights?
Also, can anyone tell me the purpose of the Ironman light? You would think it would start flashing when you are one shot away from spelling IRONMAN, or be used for some other clever purpose. As it stands, it seems like a rather pointless controlled lamp.

"Stadium" style lights that I made for my pins. From the side you'll see their reflection like as shown in the photos, but when playing you don't and it's a nicely lit playfield. The colors on the playfield are too good to hide in the shadows.
I did test my PinStadium kit on Baywatch, but for me it was WAY too much. I just made a kit that was warm LEDs to illuminate the playfield. No extra flashing, strobing or blinking.
...and yeah, yellow does look pretty good after checking it out again.
Clear is the way to go on the shark flipper to keep it looking like a shark fin. Although that pic let me know how dirty the band is.

Cmon on now .....
That's my BW !!!!
Better than most

Seriously
Yellow and clear
Not my choice but to each their own .

Red looks better than blue to me on Baywatch (I did say in my opinion too ). Blue is too jarring to my eyes and there's so much blue on the playfield.
Very cool lighting you did though!

Thanks,
It was just the "awful" comment that got me , all good .
Seems as though BW is getting lots of love these days , code , color and really nice shop jobs and that ain't easy .
Quoted from gweempose:Still waiting on some feedback about the Cliffy.
I installed the shark hole protector. It’s awesome! Haven’t taken the time to do the rest yet. No impact to game play. None of the cliffy’s I have put in any of my games have caused a negative effect.
Quoted from alexanr1:What feedback do you need?
I just wanted to make sure it didn't make the shot significantly harder to hit. On some games, the Cliffy really changes the gameplay. For example, the lock shot is so much harder to hit on I500 when there is a Cliffy installed.

I updated my response after I scrolled back up and saw your question. I have cliffy’s on my funhouse, on my roadshow, on my haunted house and now on my baywatch. No issues on any of them. Interesting your indy500 has a problem.
Quoted from FatPanda:Here are my boards for reference. Maybe reseat the chips and make sure all the pins are inserted correctly. Also check all the other connectors on the board, in case you nudged something loose.
Sorry for the giant shadow lol
Just noticed you have batteries installed on your board and have a suggestion. I bought an NVRAM chip from a Pinsider for a few bucks and it plugs right into a socket, no soldering. Eliminates the need for batteries and no possible leakage. The NVRAM chips plug and play into all Sega and DE games too.

I didn't realize it was socketed already. I'll have to get one. Do you know which specifically chip will work?
The Baywatch pin for sale was sold before I could go see it. If someone has one for sale in the northeast I'm interested.
Thanks
Quoted from hank527:I put new roms in and game won't boot. Any ideas? It just stays on with a blank dmd.
Could it be the rottendog board?
I don't think Rottendog makes a difference, but no experience with them. Just responded to your PM message to discuss replacement. Probably just bad chip since you can go back to the old version and the new display roms work fine.

That's what I'm hoping, but maybe the NVRAM needs pulled and it needs to reset with the new chip.
I'm getting a new chip to try first.
Anyone ever had a batch of Boat Plastics made? I saw a thread once a guy asked to have one scanned to he could make. Is there anyone without theirs broken, lol? of course can't find one anywhere, If you have a spare or a scratched thats a spare or a nos let me know, I could probably take it off your hands please.

This plastic?

I scanned mine for someone, will have to go thru my messages. But I think mine just had a black area rubbed off, so a scan should be able to be edited and fill in the black before printing.
I found my scan. Actually is missing a little bit of red, which should be able to be touched up. If anyone makes a plastic, I'll take two.
All my drop targets were cracked across the middle and finally one snapped while waiting for my parts order. The parts came today so I cleaned and scanned the old drop targets. Then I printed on photo paper, glued them to the new drop targets and covered with mylar. I had a bunch of round mylar for magets and they covered the new decals perfect and had extra overhang to fold along the edges of the targets to further secure them.
Funny, i had a drop target snap on me yesterday. Ordered a decal and target set from Marcos along with a couple other things.
I joined the club!!! I'm having so much fun with this game. When I bought it the owner said that the DMD stopped working a few months ago. When I got it home and plugged it in and turned it on the DMD fired right up. My wife and I were cheering and high fiveing. I did the service bulletin 106 and everything has been great. Its super cherry also. There's hardly a blemish anywhere. once I get the new Chad roms and tastefully LED it, it will be 10/10 example of this great shooter.
Quoted from swampshroom:I joined the club!!!
Congrats! Enjoy the game. This one seems to be getting a lot of good attention lately.
Had a drop target snap last Thursday right before league started. Must be reaching the lifespan on the factory targets. If someone wants to share the scan of those decals that would be swell.
I finally got my Titan order today. The first thing I tried was a grey rubber on the shark flipper, and I love it! The color is almost a perfect match, and it makes it look like one big shark fin. I tried some different colors on the main flippers, but I didn't like the way the game played with the Titans, so I ended up putting back on the normal blue rubber.
